Today’s inspiration is from old Dalian born, Japanese artist/printmaker/essayist: Toko Shinoda -from her last essay “This is the end”- My best friend/business partner/ Calligrapher artist @yumigaxing taught me about her, and read her few essays and arts as well. Her arts are fusion, mixed traditional calligraphy with modern abstract expressionism. Read her essay and found that she educated herself regarding calligraphy in old Dalian, and went to US then back to Japan because of the climate (not well-suited the calligraphy for the dryness) then continued creations until her very last, 2021/3/1 -at the age of 107 years old. Until just before her death, she continued to create after she's gained fame, she devoted herself to the creations, keep being independent, and survived the times strongly. Just admiring her creations, meaning her life greatly. Strongly recommend to read her essays, so as her arts. https://www.instagram.com/p/CXvyGH0JMBS/?utm_medium=tumblr

Today’s inspirations are from my most read in my elementary school era: German-swiss poet, novelist: HERMANN HESSE. He explains the importance of being alone in order to face inner-self. I truly believe that each person must have “my time” to spend with each-self first. We are not “one of them” or “number of the people”. Teamwork is coming from each individual, not the “number of similar personalities”. “One with all being” comes eventually but only AFTER finding yourself. As he also quote: “We must become so alone, so utterly alone, that we withdraw into our innermost self. It is a way of bitter suffering. But then our solitude is overcome, we are no longer alone, for we find that our innermost self is the spirit, that it is God, the indivisible. And suddenly we find ourselves in the midst of the world, yet undisturbed by its multiplicity, for our innermost soul we know ourselves to be one with all being.” #inspiration #knowyourworth #knowyourself #findyourself #selfdevelopment #ispirazione #personalvalues #creativelearning https://www.instagram.com/p/CXbiRQtvNqj/?utm_medium=tumblr

Today’s inspiration from “An enemy of the people” , Norwegian playwrite / Theater Director, Henrik Ibsen. So true, feel specially so nowadays. "Opinions from the majority of the number" looks like it's the“right thing" but it's NOT always. Especially for individuals' thoughts & values. Let me mention one of my analogies from his quote. Since being vegan, I became almost not buying “cheap & mass“ products. Because almost no vegan products existed that way since most of their company policies and visions are valued “being ethical” . To produce cheap & mass stuff require much sacrifice of human values. Reducing the costs of products cannot be succeed without distortion. Exploitation of workers is innumerable. When people started to use the word "fair trade”, getting a bit comprehensive even toward people who are not in the industry regarding "manufacturing process & mechanism “ to some extent. However, even if you could peek at it, it would never come to reality if you are not in their business directly with people, person to person. You can buy things without thinking, so I don't think all the “consumers” can aware of it. “Wanting a lot of cheap things" is not only lower the value of things, but also the value of labors. I think we should be more conscious of thinking about sellers / buyers and production prospectives. #metacognition #inspirations #creativelearning #govegan #inspirationalquotes #fairtrade #ibsen #humanvalueseducation #personalvalues https://www.instagram.com/p/CXRFspzJyI5/?utm_medium=tumblr

Caotica Ma Conversazione Ispiratrice. P1(Parte Uno)
@natsunocolor
Chaotic but inspirational conversation.
Sometimes each conversation sounds messy but beautifully inspirational, then get back to chaotic, messy dissonance sounds and rhythms and they iterate several patterns again and again.

Appreciation. -Grazie di cuore-

#graziedicuore as of thanksgiving
youtube
Firstly I love american english sounds and was mimicking various pronunciations when I was a child. When I was 18 in NY, I fell in love with Italian sounds then many years later, first time in Italy this year, lots of inspirations I have received just hearing the conversations of Italians. Especially, I was filled with love in the expression of “Grazie di cuore". Whenever I hear it, I remember my Italian BFF used to text me in romaji "kokorokara-arigato” which is Japanese expression means “Thank you with all my heart” , that she learned from some anime-story that she loved. And I love this expression in Italian, because their expressions, to me, sounding more “with all their hearts”. Approaches and roots are very different from each 3 language. When it comes to Japanese, "有難い(Ari-gatai)” comes from buddhism, reincarnation. Born to be a human is an “unusual = 有+難い(not usually happened)” event, so appreciate it and fulfill its live. I hear Italians often say thank you and so as english speakers, but not so often in Japanese. Maybe it’s because of Japanese language is not coming from verbal communication but in writings, or truly misplaced it as “should be used in rare occasions”. (FYI, that’s just all of my experiences, not saying based on the statistical data or general but my facts anyway) For me, listening voices of gratitude and conversations keep my ears picking notes more clearly and creating the sounds, and these sounds bring me to the further explorations of inspirations. Using this occasion, would like to appreciate that I have ears to catch enough notes (sometimes too much but still! ) to be inspired, to get creative, to explore imagination and configure something new for me to feel fresh. What do you appreciate in your life? Have a beautiful day♪https://youtu.be/8kl2F1UzhqE
