Truther of Higgs just needed a hug, but he'd never actually accept one. Like if Sam was able to actually grab hold of him without him jumping away, and just embrace him, I think things honestly could've changed.

Higgs is literally just the definition of a traumatized boy stuck in a grown man's body. I mean have you seen the look in his eyes whenever he's touched softly?

It's like.. Pure shock to be touched with kindness. It never doesn't hurt to see the look in his eyes. Especially knowing what he went through as a child and that he doesn't allow himself to be touched. Unless it's in violence.

He'll take gunshots, stabs, punches, fire. But as soon as someone's just trying to grab his shoulder, or reach out to him, or grab him, or he's even close to showing vulnerability he's immediately moving away.

Which totally doesn't remind me of Sam's aphenphosmphobia btw.

And there's also moments shown where we know that Higgs has guilt and emotion. Even Empathy. Just AUGH he deserved a redemption arc. That's all. End of rant.
