Posing Interaction for Babies (Newborns)

This mod adds an interaction to the bassinet to play poses with babies.

Based on my testing the interaction works wherever the sim is, even off lot. The baby spawns to your sim and afterwards back to the bassinet (little demo below).

As a placeholder I included a set of Gallery poses with babies. However, you can override them with your own. For that purpose, I’m including the pose files separately as well as the blend file I used that you can then use as a base (the blend file is saved in Blender 3.6). (You don't need to put the blend file into your mods folder.) Here is an alternative set of poses I made that you can use with the interaction.

XML Injector Required The XML injector is a tool/library that can be used to add interactions without the need to write your own script (another one that you might know is lot51’s core library). A script in my case would have been needed to add the posing interaction without overriding the existing game file with the baby tuning. The XML injector does that for me.

This was just an experiment tbh but I was surprised that it works so well and so I ended up wrapping it up. But anyhow, in game interactions are pretty new to me, so let me know if there's any issue.

Some background information:

The baby is an object in-game that is connected to the adult sim via the stigmata bone for poses/animations – similar to poses with accessories, if you’re familiar with that. The difference is that you also need to pose the baby itself. I have some additional notes in this tutorial for Gallery poses with babies that I made a while ago.

Note that you can’t export baby poses or animations via S4S the standard way since you can’t select the baby rig in the S4S export options. I did this with a workaround by exporting the clips from the Game File Cruiser, then importing them to Blender using an add-on (it’s actually a deactivated part of the Blender add-on that S4S uses and it’s only functional in Blender 2.7).

However, you can import the blend files with baby poses to the package file like you normally would since the rig selection is not relevant for the import.

EARLY LABOUR POSES

This one is for @simoviacourt … Don’t you just hate when you can’t find what you need? I kinda jumped at the chance to do it because I did a little search myself and noticed that there wasn’t HEAPS of poses for early labour. Just either pushing the baby out or hospital poses etc. This is kinda the first process.. between OH SHIT my water broke, crying like hell because it hurts, sim having her first contraction and it literally bringing her to her knees. I have so many poses around on my PC that i never released between all my births, pregnancies etc. I even reworked a few old poses because it was just too EASY!

There are 15 poses for your pregnant sims! So be sure to place a x1 teleporter statue in the middle of the desk or chair when using the objects. The desk i used was the one in university. But i’m pretty sure there is a fancy one in the base game that is a similar height to work well!

All sims are different sizes, so I’ve tried to put the hands on the belly in a good place where it doesn’t clip heaps!

This comes with its own custom icon so its easy to find, and you will need to play these in game, these are not for CAS. You will need Andrew’s Pose Player for these to work well!

Pose pack "A gentle touch"

Hello everyone At my leisure, I sat in a blender and made up a small set of poses for a couple. Of course, there are no pregnant women in my game yet and there won't be any in the near future, but I think (hopefully) that someone will need it...

The set includes: 💝 3 independent poses and 2 additional options. [for 1 pregnant Sim in the third trimester and 1 non-pregnant young/adult Sim]  💝 Instructions with pictures about the location of teleports.

KM Creations Clearblue Pregnancy Tests  (you will need the test box, test closed OBJ & ACC, and test open ACC)

Any counter and toilet

I highly recommend using Twisted Mexi's TOOL  to place the test box and test object on the counter, just so it lines up perfectly. You can definitely place it without TOOL but I would still recommend having bb.moveobjects on.

NOTES: 

Place teleport in center of counter

I've included a recolour of KM Creations Pregnancy Test - Clearblue Close OBJ. I just added a 'loading screen' option. Clearblue digital tests usually take a couple of minutes to load the result, which is a big part of this posepack, so I wanted to include the pending pregnancy test option.

* Created with standard EA rig body shape, some clipping and/or gapping is expected to occur and will vary per sim. Plus-size poses made with Vyxated's rig model.

[POSE PACK] - Surprise, Surprise

Hello friends! I'm sending out my very first pose pack into the world with great trepidation and nervousness. I'm still really new to pose-making so this is by no means perfect, but I thought I'd share it anyway. 

I really struggled to find any pregnancy announcement poses where the bump wasn't showing so hopefully this will come in handy for some of you. It's meant to be for an early pregnancy announcement since most people I know IRL don't have a bump in the first tri haha. Please note that your Sim should not be visibly showing for these to work!
