Biggest downfall: obsessing over things that I can’t change or have no control over rather than focusing on the things that I can change. I don’t know about you guys, but I can have it all together one minute and in the same instant feel like it's all falling apart. It's normal to feel this way, I like to believe that it's because I have such high expectations for myself that when I'm just coasting through life it feels like I am wasting precious time and energy when I could be doing more or being more creative. Does anyone else ever get this way? I have experienced so much change in the last couple of months that it caused me to have terrible anxiety. The anxieties I faced led me to complete isolation from everyone; my roommates, my friends, my colleagues and even social media. What I’ve learned since then is that we cause our own anxieties. It’s the fear of the unknown. It’s the constant obsession with the future and questioning all things that will happen or have happened to us instead of living in the present. We forget to enjoy the things we have right now in front of us. I have realized how fortunate I am to have so many possibilities in front of me. Self doubt is one hell of a thing and if you ever feel this way just remember we all go through it, some of us are just better at hiding it than others. Don’t be afraid to let go of those fears and live in the moment, take a deep breath, look around you it’s not as bad as you think.
