This is a 4to2 conversion from SixamCC, low poly, all 20 items + beddings and all recolors. A collection file is also included. The dressers have slots on them, toy boxes are functional.

A Kit for (Fake) Above Ground Pools

You may know the technique for raising a pool using the CFE cheat. See this post or this video. The wonky foundation stuff annoyed me. I ended up making "specialized" objects for it: -> A fence with the look of an above ground pool wall. -> Wall and floor coverings to match it. -> A tall ladder and diving board. The fence has two variations, with and without the half-circle pattern on the "external" side. I did my best to have it line up with the wall covering, but it's not perfect. The ladder and diving board are fully functional and animated. Though as you can see, there is some foot sliding, clipping, and snapping into place. Their target height is a pool raised by six clicks. They can be used with an unaltered one, but the snapping will be more obvious. Both are texture-repositoried to their Maxis equivalents. I included a simple set of recolours for those, seen in the first preview picture. Both ladder and diving board can be placed over fences and walls (by the water) without the MoveObjects cheat. However, placement may still be finicky. Place them directly on the ground. Make sure you have enough space for their full footprints, and that your pool water is flat. Thank you to Gayars for helping me test :) (Turns out pool stuff in general can be tricky. Any ladder or diving board placed on a foundation will have Sims swimming through the ground!) -> Download at SimFileShare.

By sort-of request, I present to you an updated-with-the-latest-technology tutorial on how to build a garage that’s attached to a house that’s on foundation, like the shell-of-a-house in the pic above. It’s also incidentally going to cover building a side-entry garage – motorcourt style, in this case – because that’s really easy to do now thanks to a couple of relatively recent mods by Mootilda and @hugelunatic. And hey, I threw in a sunken living area while I was at it because why not? You’re already making a “sunken” garage, so you might as well make a sunken living area while you’re at it. And there’s a tip here and there about building from a real-world floor plan, even. So, something for everybody! Or whatever.

It’s very long and picture-ful, so yay cut…

Cypress Oaks Apartments: 2–3 Bedrooms // 1-2 baths

Whew! I can finally release this now. Been holding onto this build for over a year. I played the sims2 10years+ and didn't start my building journey until recently, and THIS apartment was one of my first few apartment builds born from my city hyperfixation.

When I 1st shared the concept of this build, I really wasn't expecting to get so much love for it. And I do apologize for not uploading it sooner. But I have made some changes from the original and tracked down the CC I used (listed below)!

Sims will clip through perfoming some animations when caring for plants and crops as if the plants were on the ground but there’s nothing I can do about it. For the recolours to show up properly you need the small open greenhouse in your game, and the trellis planter has it’s own recolours. They appear under decorations/plants.

Hi everybody!

It's been a while, hasn't it?

I've been exploring the new neighborhood street editing tool in SimPE and I've been loving it. I've been editing terrain in the game itself and I want to start my own city soon. I've been brainstorming ideas and editing and cloning game objects to make small changes. Like the bush I'm showing you today.

I really wanted a thinner bush that could act as a green wall to place behind fences or next to walls. I positioned the bushes so that they would be exactly behind the fences but if you need to move them, use the game's cheats like "Boolprop snapobjectstogrid", "boolProp Allow45DegreeOfRotation true" and "SetQuarterTilePlacement".

Hi everybody!

today I'm bringing a set of stairs. It had been a while since I recolored stairs and I really needed this model for my constructions. What's even cooler is that I found an addition to this ladder that allows you to separate the sides of it, giving you more options.

So it turns out it's quite easy to change Sim's voice in SimPe.

I had this household where all adult female Sims sounded the same and I had to do something about it xD. I've recorded a few TS2 voice types for future reference so I might as well share. Samples below the cut.

Here are examples & values for four adult female and four adult male voices.

It's NOT possible to change voice type gender or age group by editing Voice Type value

AF1 0xFD34, AF2 0xDE83, AF3 0x354A, AF4 0x3949

AM1 0xEF85, AM2 0xDCF8, AM3 0x0D95, AM4 0xE918

These samples are from phone call conversations. Second and the last male voice is by the same voice actor but it has different 'dialogs'. AM 0xE918 seems more assertive (?).

*To be honest I'm not sure if it's a different voice type or does it depend on personality? I need to look into that. TS2 only had four voice actors /for adult voices?/ but that doesn't mean there are only four voice types, right? 🤔/

Ardenweald Fairy Set

A fairy-themed set converted from World of Warcraft: Shadowlands, the upcoming WoW expansion. I got invited to test the Shadowlands beta earlier this year and instantly fell in love with the Ardenweald zone and wanted to convert as many objects as possible, but I’ve sadly lost interest in this set for the time being.

Included are over twenty new objects, mostly decorative, some with texture animations such as these dreamcatchers I posted ages ago. Some items also glow in the dark.

I converted lilyofthevalley's inflatable sprinklers. There are 2 recolors for each (I forgot to make a swatch, sorry!). The octopus was already done by @linasims2. They are functional. Files are compressed.
