I hope the costume designer, Bernadette Croft, gets a million emmy’s for SNW. She’s perfectly blended modern futurism with 60’s futurism in a way i could never fathom. Batel’s dress in particular is simple and elegant yet has that 60’s mod sprinkle with the shoulder. Chapels gown is a PHENOMENAL call back to TOS era fashion with the color, the shine, the bulky ornaments. All of this is complimented by the makeup team who did a great job as well

No you don’t understand Tuvok and Janeway’s friendship is so important to me. Tuvok jokes with her, and shows his care of her, and is more openly and easily affectionate. Think of when she was struggling with headaches and insomnia in that one episode where aliens were experimenting on the crew, and Janeway wants to get away for a week in the holodeck after to try and destress, and he puts a hand over hers and says he’ll join her for a glass of wine. There’s so many instances of how close of friends they are, but that in particular stands out to me. It’s such a small moment, and in the grand scheme of the show it’s not even the most obvious display of their friendship, but that one in particular is so special to me.
