project 1: yesterday’s workshop involved recycling paper to create structures and costumes which were then modelled by students for an intersting life drawing class intended to squeeze out some creative juices and link our projects, from source material to themes, to the images before us and create a prototype poster book full of workable ideas from quick sketches

project 1 : while still fooling around tracing and collaging bits and peices of my source material i laid them out in a way that reminded me of a playing card. Now with gambling comes a great deal of chaos and unpredictability which would fit perfectly into one of the themes. Now i didn’t want a standard repeating sequence of gambling paraphernalia i wanted some human input which is where i got the inspiration for the humanised playing cards.
