Some Hebrew notes from today's lesson! My class is based on conversation, so I learned a ton of new words! I did my best to write sentences that I remember from class with the words I used more often, but for the last bunch I just had definitions.
I'm also practicing cursive because I don't know it very well, and because it's a lot easier than trying to write out the typed versions of the letters :)

27.09.19 // 18/100 days
Guess who went out for cake and coffee ... again?
And didn’t do her readings ... again?
Thats right. Me
But I did do two of my online quizzes today and finished them in 3 minutes each and got 100% on both 😊 so I’m happy and not too mad at myself for not doing my readings lol

27/10/19 : 21/100 days of productivity
After a whole two and a half days of having a searing migraine, but still (somehow?) getting through an essay and submitting it early, I treated myself to a mocha and a scone at BlackMedicine cafe! It was sooo yummy, and I was so happy to be able to sit and read for fun again. I’m slowly getting through The Secret History, but I only get to read for fun every now and then.
And now I’m back in my flat rushing through Richard III because I thought it had to be read for next weeks tutorial, not tomorrow’s 😬

their whisper in the halls of the library sent a cruel shiver up my spine, but none crueler than when their hand brushed against mine and their smile flashed in the dark alleys of dust-covered volumes that fell around us like snow.

29/100 days of productivity:
i had a really interesting japanese studies lecture today! it was given by a visiting professor from YNU who talked about the noh-theatre tradition in japan and especially the philosophy behind it, and how japanese culture focuses on snippets of time and the current moment in its literature and visual arts and in their composition + how noh is about visualizing the suffering that’s universal in all people according to the zen buddhist tradition behind it
he was such a lively persona and clearly very passionate about philosophy, he also gave us pens and a sticker with actual gold (also whenever someone had a question he literally sprinted to be face to face with them to listen so precious istg)
also i will have a week-long gap of 100dop bc i will be in helsinki and at my parents
