Morning Monarch is busy marvelling at a mysterious something off-screen, feasibly some magnificent minerals. According to her bio, she loves every gem... mostly because she seems indecisive about which ones she likes the most.

(A bit different to another purple Monarch, who might have had many miraculous jewels, but very much had his favourites.)

I bought a horse today (and saw actual G5 toys in stores I have never seen them in besides), so you're getting a horse today.

Sew-and-So, a classic G3 orange-with-magenta-hair type, is definitely cheating the rule that pony manes need to follow the shape of... well, a mane, but I desperately needed her to be that one post about Legend of Zelda shopkeepers. It's never been beneath me before, anyway.

I almost uploaded Fifi without a horn. I don't have to tell you that, but it does seem that being a poodle horse was more important to me than her being a unicorn.

And, I mean, do you blame me? She's utterly fabulous.

Gaping over the G4 Preschool line running with Starsong as a significant character (and being very tilted towards older ponies in general but)

So, before I restarted my blog, I did a quick redesign of a mysterious green alicorn that showed up in the G4.5 blind bags. Is she a character actually from Pony Life? No, but she's certainly an attempt to reuse the whole Twilight Sparkle mould. There's also a few extra unicorns in the batch, because apparently Lyra and Amethyst have their own moulds as well. (But Cadence doesn't?)

Anyway, the mystery alicorn. Prior to the ring pop/crystal line, it doesn't seem these blind bags came with collector cards, so there's no associated name.

She's real, I swear.

In any case, me doing this quick redesign led to me coming back to tumblr. A harrowing truth. But of course this design is a bit different.

The first time I interpreted her hair colours as relating to the aurora, so there was an attempt to make a pony that was somewhat of a cross between Celestia and Twilight. This time, I engaged the brain a bit better—where do we normally see green and blue?

The Earth! Of course! A celestial object that isn't yet depicted by an alicorn! This did mean completely changing the cutie mark, but I'm not sure what was happening there in the first place. Five stars, off-centre in no particular pattern, hmm...

And she still needs a name.

Any ideas?

Yeehaw. It's hot enough in the UK right now that things actually start melting. Take lil Baby Graffiti, whose cutie mark somehow took both more and less work than expected.

Last one I can post this month, but to be fair, we've hit the point where the remaining flags either have black as a major colour, remix the rainbow, or just get too obscure.

In any case, Sunrise is bury watching her favourite thing: Phineas and Ferb song compilations.

Lady Rainbow is a rare example of a G2 pony with a multicolour symbol, but then again, how are you going to sell the concept of a rainbow in one colour?

Big fan of the colour selection they made here, though. Very festive, though it does makes me wonder if this pony is also voiced by Debi Derryberry...

(For what's supposed to be a cishet guy, the fandom can accidentally fit so much gender in this bad boy. Magic of the disguise artist.)
