my small town in MA is pretty repub , but the neighboring two both had successful protests ! which was fucking magnificent to see . if i wasnt working i absolutely would have went :3

seeing the use of our rights and the protection of our democracy is what refills me with a sense of pride when it comes to being an american . or even a human being <3

bcuz its all performative shit for social media these days . the downfall of our society started shaming and not supporting the ppl who sit their asses down in a road and dont move till' they get what they want . now we just bully them for their cause or call them unemployed . disrupt and disturb , not preform poor ppl shenanigans for the rich .

when half of us dont spend money for one whole day , the companies laugh before carrying on with their corruption . it shows we r weak bcuz we can only go a day without spending our money , it reminds them they have control over us . look into how to become more independent from these big companies cuz when ppl start to actually not spend their money in places FOR LONG periods of time , then some shit gets done bcuz they r losing money and now it shows we r strong . it reminds them we r ppl with rights and feelings instead of money , and they NEED to start doing some shit to please us .

Least favorite form of political action is those 1 day boycotts. "Everybody don't buy anything for 1 day!" Like cool wtf is that gonna do? You do know what a boycott is, right? You do it until a change is made. Black folks in Montgomery didn't ride the bus for over a year until segregated seating was lifted. For most of them, that was the only transportation they could afford. It was difficult! That's the point! How do you expect things to change permanently if you don't permanently change! Please!
