😐 How do you handle group roleplay when someone you don’t like is in the group?

I sorta just continue rping and if they come over and rp as well, do my best to just rp till I ain’t comfortable anymore. That’s sorta the best you can hope for. If they are already in the group before I get there, I tend to just leave.

Seven Sins of Scaramouche Part I: Epilogue

"They fished my body out the water."

It was all just meat in the end, wasn't it. Watching your own corpse fished out of the water bloated and half eaten by whatever wildlife felt like a nibble.

It was a strange feeling. Being detached from yourself like this. It feels alien. Was their body all they were or was there something more to their identity? To ones self. Am I a face or am I so much more? Kaisin Ozerov always struggled with their identity. Desires to be a great heroic knight fell to the wayside as they delved deeper into magic and the esoteric. The world started to become a complex tapestry if possibility to the point simplicity was no longer an option in many cases. Keep it simple stupid that is what dad always said right? But life isn't simple no matter how much they try. Complexity is the ladder of life. Simplicity is a luxury. The idea of mercy becomes a distant memory. Where was their mercy? Memories of their death causes a rise in them. The anger, the sadness, the pain, and then the cold.

The day goes on. Kaisin catches up on those they trust. Reassured them everything will be alright. The light hurts sometimes. Being outside is oppressive. Night is fine though. Night feels right. Night brings comfort. Neheon is warm and covered in scars. Did she get those because of Kai?

Another day. The posters come down. No use hunting a dead man. But if Kai is dead what are they now? A ghost? No something else. The day drags on into night. Kai finds themselves alone with the man who killed them. Bound and sobbing, the man cries over the edge of a cliff overlooking an ocean filled with stars reflected in the night sky. The man begs. Kai is quiet. They are lost in the twinkling lights in the sky. Why wouldn't they be? The world has become harder. The man pleads, Kai returns to Earth. The man goes quiet. A single silver shaft with gun powder can cause an awful amount of complex emotions. He cries, apologizes, and that nagging pit in Kay's stomach returns. Mercy.

A single shot shatters the silence and a shadow falls into the sea of stars.

The night feels heavy again.

Not a hero

Not a villain

Just Kai. Whatever that means.

Sanguine Rosam is Recruiting!

Sanguine Rosam is a home for those who find themselves wondering if one could ever take them in. While the members of it have varying degrees of history, and a variety of motives for their own lives, the outlooks provided helps in making the days more tolerable. We are the wannabe heroes, the tired heroes and those who try their best.

We are a flexible and active guild that welcome all sorts and sizes of people. We enjoy immersive storytelling and sharing as well as being an active part of our community and other guilds around us. Due to the nature of our FC, we are fairly casual, laid-back and fun-loving people. We respect established game lore. We do understand, however, that there are certain parts of FFXIV’s lore that are iffy and vague, and that some things (a lot of things) are completely up to interpretation. We don’t mind freedom with the lore, but we will expect you to reach out to our GM’s and Admins on just how bendy you want to get and how we might be able to support you. Our chats both in the FC channel and discord are OOC (unless stated otherwise) and may contain rough language, jokes and/or commentary that may be inappropriate for people under 18, which is why this is an 18+ Free Company. We are also very open-hearted, open-minded, and open-spirit community with members who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community. A sense of humor and thick skin is essential to some degree. If you find yourself offended much more often than others, then maybe a little self-reflection and adjustment may be necessary or this is simply not the place for you. Here in Sanguine Rosam we are a light/medium RP FC who also enjoy PvE and PvP aspects of the game and we have very active guild story that we intend on stretching out into the future. We will work with our members to introduce themselves into the FC, work with them on expanding their own personal stories and support where we can in all aspects. SR is a safe place which does not harbor toxic behavior. We expect all members to leave their drama and issues at the door as we aren’t here to gossip, we are here to have fun.
