I donât care what anyone says, Iâll always believe that the best option for Laxus is Freed. Will it ever be canon? Most likely not. But considering that this is Fairy Tail weâre talking about, it doesnât surprise me.
So, in defence of Fraxus:
Given what we know about the two, theyâve been teammates and best friends for years. They possibly share the closest bond each of them has with another human being. Theyâd die and kill for each other, and they trust the other more than they trust anyone else. Not to mention the insane levels of loyalty (Mainly from Freedâs side, but also from Laxusâ)
Now, itâs obvious that Freed has romantic feelings for Laxus, but something many people like to bring up is âLaxus only sees Freed as a friendâ. Itâs a running joke in the anime, but I genuinely think itâs just what it is. A running joke, not something to be taken too seriously.
Letâs take the more serious moments to talk about Laxusâ potential feelings for Freed. It is officially a deep friendship, but there are a few factors that make me think that Laxus might be in love with him too. Thereâs a main one iâd like to point out.
I remember someone else pointing this out before, but iâm saying it anyway. Sometimes, during fights or other serious moments, when a character is involved, the scene will somehow highlight their main love interest. This is usually used to highlight the characterâs feelings for the other in a subtle way. And guess what? This happens a few times with Laxus and Freed. The first scene I can think of is:

The way they SPECIFICALLY hinted at Freed as Laxus says this?! Itâs a clear example of what I just said. It could have been Evergreen, or Bickslow, or even all three. But no. Freed. Just him. And sometimes, when Laxus refers to the thunder legion, he straight up says âFreed and the othersâ, so again, theyâre highlighting Freed in his words.

Another example. Here, Bickslow and Evergreen are also shown. But still they put more emphasis on Freed and Laxus. Plus the looks they share here?? Hello?? Nothing about it says âplatonicâ.

These are ALL moments that specifically highlight them, while Bickslow and Evergreen are put in the background a bit more. And yes, it might be Mashimaâs way of simply saying âTheir friendship is extremely strongâ, but itâs hard to not think about the possibility of Laxus having feelings for Freed when theyâve done this with basically all the main ships and couples as well.
With that said, I want to clarify that with this post Iâm not trying to say that Fraxus is better than any other pair including either Freed or Laxus, because I genuinely think that there are many totally valid ships involving each of them. This is just a personal opinion. Thank you for reading!

hey! you!
do you love yuri? gorgeous art styles? sick ass action scenes with unbelievably stupid stakes? a solid mostly female main cast of characters that play off of each other really well and are also funny as fuck?
Introducing "Love Bullet", the GL manga about cupids! with GUNS!

The series isn't officially localized in english yet, but luckily fan translators are hard at work on a real-time english translation (I won't share a link here, but you can find it easily enough)
*flowey voice* huh? why am i doing all this? because love bullet is at risk of being cancelled!
the author's said she already has the entire story planned out, but due to bad marketing and a lack of official english translations, the sales for volume one have been pretty low, and the story risks being discontinued
the chapters out so far aren't many, they're a relatively quick read, and really entertaining all the same. i am DYING to see more of these characters, they're loads of fun and there's some genuinely interesting hypotheticals about love, romance (and lack thereof) the series could get into... but only if it stays running!!
so please, give this story a shot (lol) and if you like it, consider supporting the original mangaka. other fans of LB have been resourceful enough to put together a way for you to do that, even as a western fan, so it's the least i can do to spread the word.
do it for yuri... and also insane women and heart grenade launchers

âErzaâs Cinderella?â
The authorized Chinese version of the light novel âFairy Tail in Wonderlandâ is finally released by the Taiwan publisher Tong Li, 3 years after the publication of the original Japanese version. Being a fan of Erza and Jerza, Iâm really happy to be able to find out finally whatâs happened with Erza and the rumored fake Jellal prince in the story. Since thereâs no official English version at the moment and I love Erza, I decided to summarize and translate Erzaâs part of the story into English based on the Chinese version, for those who canât read Japanese / Chinese and are fans of Erza and Jerza just like me. While my translation isnât professional and perfect, I can safely say that the contents are not far away from the Chinese version, and all the significant parts are included.Â

Stumbled upon this gem of an official Fairy Tail Drama CD thanks to @heartfilia-source for linking the actual audio + full summary in their sidebar (big fan đ thank you for all the Lucy-centric stuff!!)
The overall plot is pretty interesting (Lucy being a detective and using her big brain!!! Almost gives danganronpa vibes without the killing part!!! Big fan!!!) and Iâm sad thereâs no actual visuals/anime filler ep(s) dedicated to it considering they use the anime JP VA cast for Team Natsu but it was fun to listen to and follow along with the summary!
There are QUITE a number of cute nalu banter/moments that got me screaming so Iâll be listing them all with their timestamps! Praying one day we get a full proper english translation on it (and the LIGHT NOVELS ):<) if there isnât one somewhere out there.
( Full Audio | Full Summary Text )
It starts off with Natsu, Lucy, and Happy taking on a certain job from the request board.
Arriving at the mansion, Natsu mentions that it looks like Lucyâs old home. Lucy notes down the similarities and agrees with him. (0:58-1:09)
Entering the mansion, Natsu says that Lucyâs old home was about as big too and she agrees again, feeling nostalgic. (2:11-2:16)
Erza, Wendy, Charle, and Gray compliments the food they all woke up to but Natsu says he feels like he tasted it somewhere before with Happy saying âMe too!â Lucy asks them if thatâs true and Erza asks where have they eaten it before. Natsu says he doesnât know but doesnât think it was that long ago. (12:28-12:44)
Natsu turns to Gray and ask if he really isnât the imposter. Lucy considers Grayâs Molding Magic where he could make another master key out of ice and basically susâed him out, much to his chagrin and Natsuâs ABSOLUTE delight. (34:02-34:55)
Natsu uses his flames to lead the way as Lucy struggles to keep up. She calls out for him and Wendy but trips and falls, dropping the mirror compact. Natsu goes back to her asking what is she doing, tells her to hurry and get up while giving her compact back. (38:28-38:53)
With the two of them left, Lucy wonders if Natsu really is the culprit after all (LMAO) and Natsu immediately protests. However, he recalls Lucy saying something about the least suspicious being the culprit and wonders if he really is the culprit. (39:23-39:36)
Natsu figures out who the culprit is and Lucy is surprised he figured it out before her. He says itâs simple enough for an idiot to get and asks Lucy if she hasnât figured it out yet then does that mean heâs smarter than her? (39:56-40:14)
Lucy gets annoyed at him saying she didnât expect to hear him say that and adds on that sometimes he acts stupid then smart so she doesnât get him. (40:15-40:24)
Natsu spills wise words from Makarov that no matter how wise someone is, there will be times when they are stupid and vice versa. He then says he is the least suspicious one and everyone disappeared but he isnât the culprit, leaving only one answer. Lucy doesnât get it and Natsu admits he doesnât fully understand everything but knows who the culprit is and they should go to the Chamber of Mirrors to see. (40:25-40:58)
After confirming she IS the culprit, Lucy mentions Natsu saying he remembers the seasoning of the food earlier because he comes to eat her cooking at her apartment from time to time. (44:45-44:58)
At the very end, Wendy says she had fun with everyone (Team Natsu) in that house, it was like theyâve become a family. Natsu asks what is she talking about because theyâve been a family for a long time now. Lucy seeing all their smiles silently agrees with him, that the guild is their home and wherever their Fairy Tail friends are, thatâs their home. (58:41-59:16)

I think the new mystery guy is deku's dad.
We know deku's dad has a fire breathing quirk and with that mask he wouldn't be able to use it.
Inko might have lied to him about where his dad is or she doesn't know herself.
There is also this:

So yeah as much as I would love shigaraki or kurogiri back I think this is actually more likely

I definitely think it's his dad. I remember reading ages ago (in a q&a or something) that deku's dad was gonna come into the story.
Hi ! so I was thinking⊠do you think the new guy is Izuku's dad ? I don't think it is a villainâŠđ€
I don't think it's a villain either.
Deku's dad? I mean maybe. Would explain why his mouth has a guard tied to it (I think he had a fire breath quirk, no?).
So maybe Inko thought he worked abroad, but instead he ended up in some underground lab? Or Inko covered up that he was locked up for something? Hmmm, interesting...

Unless he killed 30 people during the fight against the meta liberation and conciders them "innocent" because they haven't done anything up to this point.
blorbo posting incoming but maybe I should reread the Dabi chapters again bc ppl who justify everything the heroes do always bring up "He killed 30 innocent civilians" as a way to dismiss and validate his death and the only time we actually see him burn a large group of people, presumably what he was referring to when he himself called them "innocent people", were a group of villains who he thought werent worth the effort of trying to recruit into the league. and by their own justifications they should be totally cool with that, but since Dabi called them innocent they latch onto it while also calling him a liar about literally everything else hes ever said. so I need to see where these 30 innocent civilians come into play pre-war bc villian on villain violence and deaths have never seemed to bother anyone until Dabi said the ones he killed were innocent. I want to understand

HAND FIVE - STRAIGHT
summary: in a season where you're determined to fly under the radar, newly-returned crown prince!touya todoroki has other ideas. in this hand, a death is dodged and a deal is made (again).
wc: 3.3k
cw/tags: royalty!au/regency!au, fem!reader, mentions of blood and injury, what are we? trope, hurt/comfort, swearing, mentions of eating and food, unabashed references to dbatc and fortnight by taylor swift, also keigo is here lol
note: i love injury/comfort prompts, that's all. hope you enjoy!
likes, reblogs, and replies are appreciated!
âWho was that?â
âNo one you need to care about,â Touya assures you when he steps back into the carriage, but he catches the skeptical narrow of your eyes as you follow the receding top hat-wearing figure. There was never getting anything past you, heâd learned over the weeks of your fake courtship. âItâs just personal business that requires my attention.â You hum, unnaturally letting the conversation drop and turning your gaze back to the scenery outside the window. Against his better judgment, he decides to press your buttons further. âYouâre not going to accuse me of nefarious activities, my lady?â
âIâm not sure of what you mean, Your Highness,â you state curtly, a nearly imperceptible amount of malice behind your words. He frowns, searching his recent memories for what could possibly be bothering you. Was it something heâd said? Did he beat you too badly at poker? Were you craving a snack from the market? He stares dumbly until you finally meet his eye and you carefully nod your head over to the side, toward the third occupant of the carriage. Oh, shit. Right, heâs here too.Â
âPlease donât feel the need to censor yourself for my sake, my lady,â the handsome, blonde airhead that was Prince Keigo Takami says politely while Touya fights the urge to groan. As the other crown prince of the nearest neighboring kingdom, Keigo had tormented Touyaâs existence for an annoyingly large part of his life. He visited annually in his signature scarlet coats with gilded birds of prey embroidered on the sleeves, a stark contrast to Touyaâs wardrobe of blue and silver. To his further irritation, your maroon day dress and satin gloves matched with Keigoâs color scheme and drew a harsh contrast between the two benches in the carriage. âThough, I do appreciate you sitting next to me for the trip to the market district. You are a better conversation partner than your suitor, if I may be blunt.â The smile you give Keigo is fake, he knows, but it still makes him nauseous to see you laughing with someone other than him.Â
âItâs easy to imagine how this ride would have progressed if I were not here,â you chuckle and the prince next to you beams. Touya sticks his tongue out in disgust when Keigo is preoccupied looking out the window and you shoot him a stern look, making him click his tongue and cross his arms defensively over his chest. âThe modiste that I visit for my nicer dresses is just down that street,â you point out, returning your attention to Keigo. âIf Lady Rumi requires a dress for the end-of-season ball, she will be more than satisfied with the Yaoyorozu familyâs work.âÂ
âI will pass word along,â Keigo affirms. âHave you decided what you will wear for the end-of-season ball?â You shake your head, examining a stray thread sticking out from your gloves and not looking anywhere near the other occupant of the carriage.Â
âMost likely a dress similar to this one. The beading on this bodice is my favorite, but I may need a different color since I wore red last year.âÂ
âI believe blue would be a wonderful color for you, if I may,â Keigo offers and you nod, the stiffening of your posture almost too subtle for Touya to catch. Blue was always Touyaâs color, the same way red was Keigoâs. âWouldnât you agree, Touya?â Asshole. You blink at him expectantly and he clears his throat for an excuse to stop looking at you.Â
âWear what you want,â he mumbles eventually, his words directed at the window beside him instead of you. âI donât care.â A part of him dies from being so cold to you; but, if his indifference bothers you, youâre a master at hiding it. Prince Keigo, however, draws his mouth into a taut line in something akin to disappointment.Â
âForgive him for his cold demeanor,â Keigo amends, giving you an apologetic smile. âHeâs been nauseous in carriage rides since we were children. It must be making him more irritable than usual.âÂ
âThe only thing irritable about this carriage ride is you, Keigo,â Touya mutters with his eyes closed, his forehead pressed against the glass. He mustâve been in hell, the way Keigo was trying to silently implore him to say something and how you were wearing red, of all colors to wear. Red? Were you fucking kidding? âAnd, that obnoxious shade on your clothes,â he adds. You bark out a laugh that lacks any amount of humor, nothing like the warmth youâd shown Keigo. You were certainly angry at him.Â
âIâm honored you find this shade so deplorable, Your Highness, since it belonged to my grandmother.â You huff an emotional breath with a hand over your heart. âMay her soul rest in peace.â Touyaâs face is lit on fire and he checks his watch in a futile attempt to make time go faster. Keigo manages to conjure up a few stunned apologies, but you end up sitting with the two princes for the rest of the ride in silence.Â
Your dramatic sadness was feigned, of course. Truthfully, the dress was just a gift from your father for your birthday the previous year. Your grandmother had left you nothing but old shoes at her passing when you were barely fourteen, but Touya didnât need to know that.Â
You wanted to bother him, make him angry, and push him to his emotional limits just as he was testing yours. He was exceedingly frustrating lately, blurring the lines between fake affection and genuine romantic gestures so often, it left your head spinning. Every time you thought you had a grasp on where his mind was strategically, heâd turn around and look at you so lovingly that your knees would weaken. The feelings slowly making themselves known were becoming impossible to ignore, and you settled for re-discovering your dislike for Touya to combat them.Â
And, obviously, heâd taken notice.Â
âYouâre upset with me,â he mutters next to you, quiet enough so that no one in the square could eavesdrop. Prince Keigo was away for the time being, looking through swatches of fabric that could be used for the palaceâs new curtains. âI want to know why.â
âWhat gives you such an impression?âÂ
âYouâre refusing to look at me, for starters,â he grits out. You abruptly turn on your heel and move to the next stall, selling winter wear and other warm clothes. A dark blue cloak catches your eye and you run your fingers over the ruched velvet. It was beautifully made and gave you an excuse to continue ignoring the prince. âDo you like it? You can have it,â he says from over your shoulder, gesturing for a nearby servant to pay the vendor. Before currency can be exchanged, you shake your head, giving the seller your thanks before leaving. The princeâs patience was sure to be running short now, and you glance at the clocktower for an estimate on how much longer you had to endure this. When youâre about to find a new hiding spot, an all-too-familiar hand grips your wrist and youâre dragged into a nearby alley between two buildings. The princeâs arm comes up to block you in, forcing you to meet his eyes.Â
âWhat the hell do you think youâre doing?â The prince is close enough that you can see where the skin of his scars draw jagged lines across his face.Â
âWhat the hell do you think youâre doing?â He all but spits the word and you refuse to back down from his glare. âYou think you can just ignore me and get away with it? You think you can just back out of our deal?â
âI never said I was backing out of anything,â you snarl. âMaybe, I just want you to leave me alone for a single moment!âÂ
âI am your prince,â he hisses.
âAnd I am to be your intended within a fortnight, only for you to leave me like none of the exchanges we shared mattered in the slightest. Let me deal with that how I will,â you demand and shove his arm out of your way, storming into the marketplace and disappearing among the crowd. You hear him call out your name but you donât dare respond, an odd feeling akin to grief starting to stir in your chest. You catch the faintest blur of movement running along the walkways between the four towers surrounding the squareâ
And barely dodge the arrow aimed directly for your liver.Â
The marketplace descends into chaos within seconds as another barrage of arrows fires in your direction and you duck behind a stand as it falls, frantic customers running about like ants trapped in a jar. You pull your legs close and spot a growing patch of red dripping from your skirt and cringe when you see the gash cutting into the right side of your calf. You must have caught it on something while you were running, or a stray arrow grazed it during the first wave. From what you could tell, there were probably three or four assailants, all armed with bows and shooting in your direction. You silently prayed that Touya was still alive, however much you wanted to strangle him yourself. Boots skid to a stop in front of you and youâre ready to fight the attacker off with a nearby shard of stained glass, but relax when Keigoâs worried face appears in front of you.Â
âShit, there you are. I saw you storm off right before the attack started and figured Touya said something stupid again,â he says, his relief evident. âAre you hurt?âÂ
âThereâs a wound on my leg,â you inform him with a wince, pulling up your skirt and fighting back a wave of nausea when you see how much blood is gushing from it. âI donâtâI donât think I should be losingâŠâÂ
âThat much blood, I know,â Keigo finishes, holding out his hand and tugging you out from under the table. With a hand around your waist, he guides you back into the dark alley, away from the screaming crowd, unrelenting streams of arrows, and the sudden smell of something burning. âStay here, Iâll send Touya to come get you.âÂ
âButââ
âNo buts. Heâs going to kill me if something happens to you, so just stay here. Okay?â You nod and back further into the alley, an airy feeling growing in your mind that was making it hard to think. You register Keigo running back out into the conflict, but donât remember how you ended up slumped against the wall or how long you stayed there until Touya tore his way through the darkness. The airiness in your head was concerning, now, but something in your head said that sleeping it off would make it go away. The prince didnât think so.Â
âYou gotta stay with me,â you hear him plead, his body crouched in front of you and his face inches from yours. Something was bright and vividly blue behind him in the square, waving like a clothesline in a hurricane. Fire? âIf you go to sleep, thatâs going to ruin many, many things for me.â
âIâm bleeding out and the only thing you can think of is yourself,â you murmur, blinking slowly. The dry skin of his palms meet your cheek as he gently holds your face upright, his burning stare wrought with concern. âTypical.â
âThe only thing Iâm thinking of right now is you, dumbass,â he snaps, glancing up and down the alley. âI need to move you. I have a safe house a few blocks down from here. If we go nowââ
âI canât,â you tell him in a broken whisper and his face falls. âIt hurts too much to walk.â
âIâll carry you. I donât care how far or for how long, I just need to get you somewhere safe.â Desperation starts to leak into his voice and, if you werenât on the verge of passing out, you would tease him. âWrap your arm around my shoulder because we have to go, now.â You have no choice but to obey him as his arms slip under your legs and back, and you stifle a cry into your fist when a blinding spike of pain throbs in your calf.Â
âTouya, it hurts,â you groan against his chest. âIt really fucking hurts.â
âI know it does. Just hold out for a little longer and Iâll stop the bleeding, I promise. Youâre going to be okay.â The dark alleys of the market district become a blur of bricks and broken windows, ultimately fading into darkness as Touyaâs voice becomes distant.Â
â
You wake with a start in an unfamiliar bed and register the dull pain in your calf, now carefully wrapped in thick gauze. It was dark and you could vaguely make out silhouettes of furniture in dim candlelight. You were in an attic of some sorts, your bed shoved against a slanted wall and facing a large circular window that overlooked the city. A small sofa, a set of drawers, and a desk were haphazardly strewn across the remaining space, and a surprisingly soft rug hits your feet when you swing your legs over the edge of the bed. Before you can stand, a square cutout in the floor pops up and youâd be lying if you said you werenât relieved to see who opened the hatch.Â
âWhat the hell are you doing sitting up? You should be resting,â Touya commands, hurriedly setting down a tray of food and rushing to your side. Without meeting your eyes, he kneels in front of you as you open your mouth to argue, but the words die on your tongue when he gingerly takes your calf in his hands. âThe bleeding stopped, thankfully, but you need to be careful not to open your stitches.â
âYou gave me stitches?âÂ
âNo, a friend did. Sheâs good with needles and better with blood than I am,â he replies absentmindedly, still turning your leg over in his palms. He rotates the limb a little too far to the side and you inhale through your teeth, flinching away as far as you could go. âShit, sorry.â He stands abruptly and retrieves the tray of food from the floor near the hatch, setting it on an empty spot on the bed before sitting down himself. âAre you hungry? You need to eat something, and drink water, and probably rest some moreââÂ
âTouya,â you insist, grabbing his hand as it shakily rearranged various small plates of food. He finally looks at you and youâre met with an expression youâve never seen on his stupidly handsome face. The prince lookedâŠscared. âJust give me a second to process things, please.âÂ
âYou need to heal,â he protests. âI will take care of you.â
âYou can, if you tell me where I am right now,â you state and he exhales out of his mouth, considering you a moment longer before setting the tray in your lap. âIâll eat, but I need you to explain to me what happened.â He watches you take a few small bites from your fork before answering, like he was still afraid youâd deny him the opportunity to dote on you.Â
âWe were attacked. Assassination attempt on my life. You just happened to be in the crossfire,â he scowls. âIâm sorry you were hurt because of me.â The silence in the attic as you eat is palpable. âAndâŠIâm sorry for whatever I did to make you angry.â Your mouth quirks into the tiniest smile, but itâs again devoid of any real humor.Â
âYou still donât understand what youâve been doing?â He was wracking his brain again, trying to figure out what heâd done, but no answer occurred to him.Â
âI donât, but I do feel remorse that Iâve upset you,â he admits, hoping youâd put him out of his misery and just tell him what he did wrong so he could fix it. He wanted to fix your sad smile the same way heâd fixed your leg, but something in him was saying that what you were feeling wasnât simply physical. âIf weâre going to finish the dealââ
âThatâs why Iâm upset,â you interject and he pauses. How could you be mad about the deal when youâd been so agreeable only a few weeks ago? âI canât say I enjoy how this agreement has been progressing.âÂ
âWhat have I done to upset you?â
âWhat havenât you done should be your question,â you mutter almost imperceptibly. Touya exhales deeply again, this time through his nose. At least you were feeling strong enough to talk back. âYou really donât understand what your intimacy has been insinuating?â He freezes. Were you implying what he thought you were implying?Â
âI donât know what you mean,â he forces out. If you developed feelings for him, that wasnât his fault. He was going to leave, after all, so heâd be out of your life soon enough. Perhaps, though, that wasnât what you wanted. Nonetheless you shake your head, a clear signal he was losing you again. âPlease, tell me what you mean,â he says in an attempt to regain your attention. You pause, eyes staring off at the blanket covering your lower body. Â
âYou look at me fondly as if I were a friend,â you explain quietly. âSometimes, Iâm foolish enough to believe I am one; yet, it feels like a small cut every time I realize that it is all for show.âÂ
âAnd how many cuts do you have now?â How many times had he hurt you?Â
âToo many to count,â you say and something in his chest twists like a maid wringing a towel. Heâd been selfish, truthfully. He liked your attention, how you rolled your eyes and were quick to debate him on any topic under the sun. It didnât occur to him, though, how the blurry line between business and friendship affected you.Â
âI donât know what you want me to do.â The look you give him is akin to his royal tutor hitting him on the head with a rolled up scroll.Â
âDo you care for me, Touya?â He nods carefully, trying to predict your angle. âAre you being genuine?â
âI have every reason to lie to you, but on this I am true.âÂ
âI am not just a business transaction to you?âÂ
âThe furthest from it.â You seem to accept this and the tiniest weight leaves his shoulders, but the aura of unhappiness that you radiate still remains. âWhat would you have me do to prove that I care for you?âÂ
A pause, two shaky breaths.
âLet me in. Allow me to be your friend, if only for the fortnight until you propose.â There was a sadness in your request that he couldnât place, but he finds himself agreeing without hesitation. Despite the masquerade ball of liars and fakes heâd been trained to deceive in the palace, a part of him longed to be seen by someone for how he really is. The only question now asked how much danger he was unwillingly putting you in.Â
For the time being, he stored the concern in the back of his mind, relishing in the feeling of your hand slipping into the rough calluses in his palm. Whether you reached out first or he did, it didnât matter. The touch felt different, something shifting in the air as he ran his thumb over your knuckles. Youâd set down your utensil and found the side of his face, brushing your fingers over the mottled scars on his cheeks. What an odd ache, he thought to himself as he replayed the memory back in his mind while you slept again. He didnât understand the feeling until a few hours later, when he returned you home and you were out of his sight.Â
For the first time in years, Touya Todoroki felt seen.Â
