reading homestuck as a young kid and growing with the characters was a really unparalleled experience, like, re-reading when i was as old as the alpha kids and then as an adult and getting a different read every time. my point of saying this is nepeta became a sort of luna lovegood for me where my first read was me thinking “shes so cool and has so many friends just like me :)” and then re-reading and realizing a) the author probably had some opinions about autistic people in 2012 b) maybe two people in the story actually care about her
