I rarely post personal posts on here..but I feel like I need to put my thoughts somewhere... My heart has been especially heavy these last few days... I’ve attempted to find the words to express how I feel about Carrie Fisher and nothing ever seemed right. This year has been hard on everyone, and even though I never met the people who have passed this year- I feel lost without them here.  Carrie Fisher was my favorite Princess, a rebel, a General, and an incredible feminist who didn’t give a single fuck, and never took shit from anyone. She was open and honest about her mental illness and addiction. She helped show me that mental illness is not a death sentence- taught me that I can live with bipolar disorder, taught me not be afraid of ashamed of it.  Carrie, you will be sorely missed. Your wit and humor were unrivaled. Thank you for being strong, brave, and helping us all take life a little less seriously.

Hello! I am an aspiring embroidery artist and I was wondering what material you use for your merit badges! Specifically the back piece- is it felt? I am looking to make some myself for friends and family as presents but am unsure on what to use. I have some jean fabric for the back and basic fabric I use for embroidery, but I'm not sure what should go where and be used for what. Could you help me? I would really appreciate it!

Hi there! Sorry if it’s taken me a while to respond- I never get notified for messages on this tumblr for some reason. I usually use a cotton or linen to stitch on and then cut that out and stitch it to wool felt. :)
