“I can’t date because of feminism” seems to be trending on Google, so let me be the first to say: Yes, okay, sure.

You can’t get a date because of feminism in the same way you can’t ���date” because it is illegal to lock women in your bedroom and demand that they love you.

But if you are a man who can’t get a date with someone who actually likes you, it’s not because of feminism. It’s because you are someone people do not want to date. Possibly because you spend a lot of time whining about how women having rights has made dating impossible for you.

Anyone else tired of the 3 guy 1 girl character setup in literally every movie ever?

things “body positivity” movements should address besides weight/fat:

(dis)ability

features associated with non-whiteness

hair type

lots of body hair / no body hair / little body hair / hair in all places / losing hair

acne 

skin conditions

scars

stretch marks

skin discolorations

different ways that skin tans

tanlines

etc

so when white feminists show me pictures of fat able-bodied white women with super smooth skin and no discolorations/skin marks and no body hair and say “love your body!!1!” it’s like nope. 

I may be fat but I’m also so many other things that are looked down upon and policed. If your body positivity doesn’t seek to dismantle white supremacy/ableism/cissexism/etc, what good is your body positivity? who is it helping?

Why does being in your early 20s feel so much like only having 5 years of your life left in which you need to achieve as much as possible? why do I feel like I have an approaching deadline for success?

tbh the worst thing about being a self aware mentally ill person is that people assume that because you understand your illness you’re automatically able to actually apply your knowledge to your life and cure yourself

i don’t really think the relationship between generation z and millennials is comparable to the relationship between baby boomers and millennials

mostly because largely speaking. baby boomers are the parents of millennials but millennials aren’t the parents of generation z
