Hey guys this is my new side blog for rambling about Yellowjackets :)

One thing that never fails to make me sit and reflect is the fact that Natalie died of a drug overdose after spending so long trying to be clean. Not only is this devastating in general, but it also shows how she really had a destined path for her all along. Whether or not you choose to believe within the spiritual narrative of Yellowjackets or not, it’s still undeniable the role Natalie had when she survived instead of Javi. From that point on, her life was a mistake, a mirror. She tried to escape her fate when Javi died instead of her, but in the end, she could only run from the borrowed time she had gained for so long, which is why it was so fitting that her death was caused by an OD.
