I think I know what I don’t like about Freddie btw! She actually is a fun character but what bothers me, I think, is how inconsistent she is on her choosing a side! You can never see where she stands, and she always does what’s convenient and I have bad experience with people like that so I think maybe that also plays a role. But good to pin that down.

Uuuuuh, Hannibal at will’s Home. If he is allowed, then that isn’t the first time (the dogs seem to know him, or it’s the snacks) and that is the fun thing actually. Because this is the fourth episode, and Will already trusts Hannibal coming to his house

Abigail in retail being frustrated and angry, yeah, I’d probably be too ngl….. probably would’ve snapped already if I’m being honest

Alana and Hannibal in a room, didn’t think id ever see that. And as my very stereotypical dad‘d say right now: kinda goes against the norm doesn’t it? A girl with a beer while the guy drinks red wine? And I’d tell him: that isn’t a norm, that’s a stereotype, and seeing Hannibal, as elegant and proper as he is, with a beer would have shattered a world in me. But hey, who cares, I love my dad

Also “tell me about your mother” “that’s some lazy psychiatry, dr. Lecter” is about the first quote I’ve ever heard from this series and I’m not at all sorry for it!

I actually really like the concept of “making your own family” being framed in a bad way (even if we only the the bad thing from an outsider perspective) (and that normal families don’t kill their blood relatives and stuff) because I’m really deep In >found family<

Okay, before my thoughts are spitting fire again I want to say 3 things:

2. this thing was actually me reacting to the episodes 3&4 (and 5 but i still have to write that down and I’m not home right now) a few days ago but I had the dumb idea to push it a bit. I’m okay with that decision because 3:

You all said Freddie will get better? Okay, deal. I always try to be open minded, especially with characters and their arcs so of course I’m giving her a chance (even though episode 3 is definitely not in her favor for me as you will see👀)

I hate Freddie Lounds so much, oh gosh.

And this for the whole goddamn episode. Please tell me she’ll get killed somewhen?! I read a lot but I don’t think I saw someone mention it.

Also, I love their (Will and Hannibal’s) dynamic so much! I think I will know exactly why so many people ship them

Also, I am so uncomfortable with the amount of mushrooms in them, you have no idea. And having the dead body in a trunk is one thing, covert in dirt is a completely different thing.

Also, I mentioned this in my previous comment to the first episode but I love that sassy piece of shit that’s Will Graham XD.

And I’ll say it again and again, Freddie lounds can die and I’d be happy with it however it happened. Sliming her way for people to tell her what she wants, hearing therapy sessions and recording them and showing some remorse when Hannibal talks to her and then being as shitty as possible anyway just gets on my nerves so much. And her being the reason to get a cop suspended, just to pull him into her schemes/a job she’d give him? Oh please

Also, I’m right to suspect Abigail as a bigger plot point, yeah? I saw a lot of people calling her some kind of surrogate daughter to Will and Hannibal, that true?

Oh yeah, I see how much he already cares! That’ll be fun!

Love seeing Will again, I’ll admit, red dragon was both my favorite book and favorite movie. (The 2002 one) and the main reason for that was Will!

Love the dynamic between Will and Hannibal. Kinda caught the same flair like red dragon while being completely unique to the series and fitting for the start of their journey.

Thing is, I already knew a lot about the show, and thought I knew a bit when what was happening and I knew he’d kill Hobbs but i didn’t think I’d be in the first goddamn episode!!!!
