I was painting Bank Cottage in Cadmore End this afternoon. It was quite chilly in the wind and gradually got overcast over the afternoon. Had a nice chat with vicar Philip Smith and the man who lives in the house in the painting. Turns out he's got an old painting of mine hanging in his bedroom.

I wasn't feeling great this morning but decided to go out painting due to the beautiful sunny weather. I was painting by the Thames on Marsh Meadow in Cookham. The fresh air helped, but as soon as I got home, I felt shifty again, which probably wasn't a good idea. 3 hours, oil on primed panel, 20 x 25 cm.
