HE Presindent Mnangagwa commissioned the Muchekeranwa dam outgrower scheme. The university has established and put 60 hectares under irrigation for 48 families that were displaced by the construction of Muchekeranwa dam.

The President noted that 48 farmers were displaced by the construction of Muchekeranwa dam. Government allocated 90 hectares of land to the affected families. AFC tilled the land usinh tractors were from Belarus.

Last year in May we were at this place commissioning Muchekeranwa dam. This place we are gathered today was a forest but today the place is green with very good wheat crop and a pivot.

It gives me great pleasure to have been invited to commission the MUAST Agro-Industrial Park.

I was in Mrewa where I officially opened the central registry offices. The office issues birth certificates and e passports (digital passport). The western countries pronounced that in 2 years time no one will be allowed to travel without an e passport ,they thought we couldn't do it and here we are we have done it we have e passports in Mrewa.

Last week we were in Mahusekwa were I commissioned an oil manufacturing factory. We want factories to operate in our rural areas.

Today's ceremony is a celebration of yet another milestone born out of the second republic's adoption of Education 5.0

This Agro-Industrial Park is one of the initiatives designed to train our boys and girls to make wealth. Now all universities should nurture our boys and girl to be innovative and make products.

Because of the sanctions imposed on us we did not receive aid like other countries, medical oxygen was eey expensive to buy from BOC. We then tasked our boys and girls under the leadership of Prof Murwira to produce medical oxygen, we have a factory in Mutare now.

We will remove the people of this country from poverty so that we can feed ourselves. We must produce whatever we eat, whatever we put on.

This is the first year since we attained Independence that we are going to have enough wheat for 13 months.

When I commissioned Muchekeranwa dam I indicated that the dam would benefit families. 48 families were displaced because of the construction. We visited the families they have 3 pivots and tractors. They will be making money all year round

Zimbabwe is a unitary state, Zimbabwe is one. It doest matter your language we are all Zimbabweans. Our constitution recognizes the official 16 languages.

All we want is to build our country in peace. Resist those who preach violence. We must be prod and Patriotic about our country. The development we have here is yours it is the wish of your Government to bring technology to the country side

We are determined to develop our country with noone remaining behind. Everybody must come on board. Those who don't want ZANU-PF is like an elephant inongofamba ichingofamaba vanovukura vachingovukura havo

I want to assure you all that my Government will continue to capacitate all Universities. We want to introduce fishing ponds. Every village will get 10 fruit trees and fishing ponds.
