Shop the Sustainable Athleta Collection Olympian Allyson Felix Calls

When it comes to my workout attire, I keep it pretty basic: black leggings or black shorts with a black tank top. Sometimes I mix it up with a little color or pattern, but for the most part, I sweat it out in something highly predictable. I typically look like if Wednesday Addams decided to ditch the long sleeves and hit the gym. Continue Reading on Popsugar Read the full article

Copenhagen's Street Style Is Setting All the Trends For 2020

Copenhagen's runways — Ganni and Cecilie Banhsen for starters — are the breeding ground for cool-girl trends, so it only follows that the women attending them are among the best dressed in the industry. That much is true from Copenhagen Fashion Week's street style, where one might surmise from the outfit ingenuity on display that Copenhagen was holding a convention for the most stylish women on the planet. If you did, you're not wrong. Fashion Week drew out a lineup of the coolest kind of looks — ensembles that practically beg to be photographed (but you know, not in an obvious way). They're layered and nuanced and accessorized with chic clutch bags, wide-brim hats, and everything from flip flops to embellished heels. In short, it's the outfit inspiration you've been waiting for to take your Summer look up a notch and bridge that gap till Fall. Continue Reading on Popsugar Read the full article

Beyoncé Walks Her First Red Carpet in Nearly 3 Years at The Lion King Premiere With Blue

It's been a minute since we've seen Bey walk a red carpet; the last time she was photographed on one was at the MTV VMAs back in August 2016, when she showed up with Blue in glam gowns. Luckily, the fun doesn't stop here: on Sunday, Beyoncé and her Lion King costars — including Donald Glover, Alfre Woodard, Seth Rogen, and Shahadi Wright Joseph — will premiere the film at a London screening attended by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. The idea of that much royalty in one room makes me feel faint. Keep reading to see Queen Bey and Princess Blue in all their glory before The Lion King hits theaters on July 19. We're Calling It: This Braid Is Going to Be the Biggest Hair Trend of the Summer

This Puffy-Sleeve Tee Is the Only Top I Want to Wear All Summer — and It's on Sale

I'm going to let you in on a little secret: I'm obsessed with the puffy-sleeve trend. The minute I took this $26 white style for a spin, I was hooked, and I find myself actively seeking out more options to wear throughout Summer. Despite puffy sleeves last peaking in the '80s when overly flashy fashion reigned supreme, 2019 has proven that old trends can certainly feel new and fresh for today. Voluminous, statement-making puffy sleeves are the perfect example of an old-but-now-new silhouette that feels super cool this season — heck, the shape is dang near ubiquitous among fashion girls and offered from tons of brands from affordable to designer in dress, blouse, and t-shirt form. I HATE Pants in the Summer, but This $35 Pair Just Changed My Tune

I'm not a pants person. While I love and own an assortment of bottoms, from rigid jeans to kicky culottes and tailored trousers, they require so much more effort than my midi dresses and skirts. With fuller thighs and muscular calves, I struggle to find fits that are both comfortable and flattering, but I keep trying (though when a pants mood strikes, the process is generally a frustrating 15 or so minutes of me trying on options before I give up and default to a dress or skirt). While this is a year-round dilemma, the Summer is even harder for me — once heat is a factor, pants feel like a suffocating straitjacket for my legs, which is why I abandon them altogether to avoid such discomfort. Who can relate? News Source Read the full article

51 Stylish Pride Pieces to Pick Up in June and Wear Forever

One of our favorite reasons to check email toward the end of May is to scan our inbox for new Pride collections or collaborations launching for the first time. In 2019, Express is donating 25 percent of the net income from its first-ever Love Unites line to GLAAD, with a minimum donation of $100,000. And Converse relaunched its series of LGBTQ+ shoes (if you recall, Miley Cyrus collaborated with the popular shoe label in 2018). Needless to say, the kicks are as sparkly and unmissable as ever, with a retro feel. News Source Read the full article

I Stopped Paying For Manicures After I Learned How to Use These Simple Nail Tools

While going to the nail salon and having your arms rubbed with steaming hot rocks can be therapeutic in its own way, I still prefer to take matters into my own hands (pun intended) and give myself at-home manicures most of the time. However, if you have ever gotten a manicure from a technician, you know that there are all sorts of complicated tools involved in making your nails look good. News Source Read the full article
