Highlighted Ballots Circulating Online Worried Netizens & Absentee Voters

A photo of a highlighted official ballot allegedly taken from one of the international voting precinct is currently making the rounds online, some netizens speculates that the alleged ballot is one of the sinister plot to rig the 2016 elections.

The controversial photo was already shared several times on various Facebook Pages managed by Filipinos, the photo showed the highlighted names of Mar Roxas and Leni Robredo in the ballot. One of the photo caught the attention of Mayor Duterte's social media campaign manager, Peter Tiu Lavina. He sounded alarm by what he saw and posted the following statement on his official social media account. Atty. Bruce Rivera's Open Letter to the Biased Media Went Viral

An avid supporter and endorser of Mayor Rodrigo Duterte, Atty. Bruce Rivera addressed an open letter to the Philippine media revealing how the country's primary source of information manipulated the news in favor of the few. The lawyer also cited some incidents wherein the media made some false reporting against presidential candidate Rody Duterte.

Atty. Rivera hits the Philippine media for its biased reporting in favor of some presidential candidates and his open letter immediately went viral after it was posted on Facebook. According to Atty. Rivera, the Philippine media should report the entire story and not only half-truths because was the main thing and reporting. He also noted that the main reason why he stayed away from journalism because he cannot tell a story without giving an opinion about it. The veteran lawyer and professor of San Beda cited an incident in Hong Kong wherein the national news reported about the thousands of people attending the rally of Mar Roxas but the reality was so far from what were reported on Philippine national TV. An online article came out detailing the woes of a Mar supporter who was allegedly bashed by Duterte supporters because she made a comment that the Mar rally in HK was a huge success and in the process aggravated the image of the supporters as hooligans and bullies. I am in no way defending bullies and aggressive behavior but if you will report bashing of a Mar supporter at least in the backdrop of the report, the media outfit should at least report the phenomenal attendance of the Duterte rally even without his attendance. Concerned netizens shared their sentiments and angry comments against the leadership of President Benigno S. Aquino III when they learned that the president has refused to guarantee a P3-billion concessional loan offered by the World Bank to Tacloban based upon the expose of The Standard author Christine F. Herrera.

According to The Standard article, the supposed World Bank grant to Tacloban City will be used to rehabilitate and reconstruct the city after Super Typhoon "Yolanda." World Bank and government documents show the package was 90-percent grant and 10-percent loan for the rehabilitation of Tacloban City, meaning the government would pay only less than P300 million of the total funding of P3 billion. According to Tacloban Mayor Alfred Romualdez who made headlines during the aftermath of super typhoon Yolanda for his involvement with a spat with Mar Roxas revealed to the media that President Aquino's refusal to give a sovereign guarantee that only he can grant prompted the World Bank to withdraw the P3-billion grant offered by the international institution. Peace is not cheap because pride is always the cost. Duterte hates oppression. That is social justice. It is not communism where you divest the rich of its jewels. It is not feudalism where we protect ths lords. It is not despotism where we yield to one power. Social justice is the humanization of laws. It is protecting the oppressed symbolized by the Lumads. Filipinos who cannot protect themselves from oppressors. The rich, the intellectuals, the educated, the powerful, the landed do not need the same amount of benevolence and protection. Self-preservation dictates that we will find a way to protect ourselves. Hence, I need a President who will protect the helpless in my society so I do not have to worry about the negative effects of crime and fear brought as a result of the marginalization of the have-nots. My President need not protect my interests because I can take care of myself and my family. But, I need a President who has the humility to go down to the level of pauper and swallow pride sometimes just to uplift those who are so used to being bottom-dwelers, some have not even seen sunlight to ask for it. Call Duterte anything you want. Brand him a leftist or a Communist just because he may have people in his circle who once were part of the NPA. But here is a reality difficult to swallow: people take up arms and resort to guerilla struggle not because of greed but because of desperation brought about by social injustice. One Cebu Party Officially Support & Endorse Mayor Duterte for President

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte of Davao City got the political backing of "One Cebu" party led by Cebu gubernatorial candidate Winston Garcia. The announcement of Cebu's support was made by One Cebu who also vowed to deliver a one-million vote difference in the May 2016 elections.

According to One Cebu leader Winston Garcia, the One Cebu Party reached its decision to throw its support behind Mayor Rody Duterte, the PDP-Laban standard-bearer, after meeting with the mayor on Saturday. During the meeting with Mayor Duterte, the party decided to support the candidacy of Mayor Duterte and wanted to bring a Bisaya to Malacanang. During an interview with the media, One Cebu's Winston Garcia was quoted as saying "WinNer ta, Duterte pa." The One Cebu Party's backing of Mayor Duterte was reached after an extensive and thorough consultation with members and the burgeoning supporters of the party. Mayor Duterte was informed of One Cebu's decision to support his candidacy, as a response, the mayor stated that his opponents might be panicking right now after One Cebu's endorsement of his candidacy.  As part of One Cebu's support of Mayor Duterte, the leader of the party promised to provide what Cebuanos did during the 2004 national elections when the province delivered the one-million vote difference for former Pres. Arroyo. Cebu Province is considered as the country's richest-vote province with more than 2.7 million registered voters. Although One Cebu Party declared their support to Mayor Duterte as president, some members of the party preferred Bongbong Marcos instead of Sen. Cayetano as their Vice President. Leaders of One Cebu in the fourth district already announced their support to Sen. Bongbong Marcos.

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte Tops for the Very First Time in Pulse Asia Survey

For the very first time in the history of Pulse Asia and ABS-CBN survey results, the rightful leading presidential candidate Mayor Rodrigo Duterte tops the latest survey results released on Sunday, April 3, 2015.

According to the latest survey results of Pulse Asia and ABS-CBN, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte ranked as the No.1 choice to be the next president with a total of 26% voting preference among the presidential candidates. Duterte-Cayetano Tandem to Return the Farmer's Coco Levy Funds Once Elected

The country's most popular candidate on social media, Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and his running mate Sen. Alan Peter Cayetano vowed to distribute the controversial coco levy funds to farmers if elected into office this coming May 2016 national elections.

Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and his running mate listened to the demands of small coconut farmers during their "Ronda Serye" in Catanauan, Quezon Province, one of the Philippines primary supplier of coconut produce for the past few years. The undistributed multibillion-peso fund should be given back to the farmers during his first 100 days in office. Duterte's running mate also stated that he would not allow the "cycle of neglect," to continue under their administration. The Duterte-Cayetano tandem already signed a three-point manifesto entitled "Panata para sa Maliliit na Magniniyog," and pledge to end what the tandem described as the "sytematic oppression of small coconut farmers." According to Philippine history the coco levy fund scam dates back to the early 1970's and 80's involving the late Pres. Ferdinand Marcos with the help of businessman Danding Cojuangco and Sen. Juan Ponce Enrile who conspired to tax coconut farmers. Aside from the controversial coco levy funds distribution, the coconut farms also asked the Duterte-Cayetano tandem to focus on agrarian reform, arguing that even if te money is returned to them, if might still be useless if they are left landless.

Actual Video Footage of the Kidapawan Rally Dispersal Went Viral Online

An actual video footage of the harsh dispersal of farmers and Lumads in Kidapawan City, NorthCotabato by government security forces was posted online through the Facebook Page of Even Demata. The video footage of the dispersal went viral immediately after it was shared by thousands of netizens.

Based upon the video footage taken by Lykfm Teleradyo and first posted by Tamaraw Riders, the security forces first used water cannons during the dispersal as stones thrown from both sides. A reporter was also heard in the video confirming that gun shots were fired during the incident. Due to the harsh dispersal of protesting farmers, several members of the protesters were wounded during a rally at the national highway in Kidapawan City, Cotabato. The farmers barricaded the national highway for three days and they were demanding the release of 15,000 sacks of rice subsidy as El Nino worsen in the province.
