My arospec experience was finding a girlfriend who helped me through my previous relationship trauma and wondering if that erases my aroness (I was identifying as caedromantic because I was actively romance repulsed after my initial trauma which I’d never been before). And being able to tell myself I’m still valid anyway, even if I might have to wear a different microlabel now I’m still aroace and proud.

What if more often than not she's made to deal with the cramps on her own, her parents don't care enough to make her feel better. The drones she cares for and loves wind up being the ones to comfort her. Cyn steals Tessa's mothers heating pad and brings it to Tessa, plugs it in, and lays it over Tessa's cramping abdomen. J snuggles up with her (she fights for that spot). N is always the one in the kitchen making some fairy bread, hot coco, soup, and or getting her various snacks and plenty of chocolate both milk and dark chocolate (I guess dark chocolate is the best thing to snack on when it's that time of the month). She gets her snacks brought to her no problems.

They all lay together and watch movies together, always there for Tessa

I hear you and I’m not AGAINST headcanons like that. But, counterpoint, I’m AuDHD and the vast majority of my friends are and I don’t headcanon every single character as AuDHD 😅 (Uzi definitely, mostly because she and I are essentially the exact same person from different universes LOL. We’re just that alike so it would make sense to headcanon her with my conditions. Also N and Cyn are practically canonically autistic atp? But if I don’t SEE it, for instance with J and V, I don’t see a reason to change the characters to fit it. Uzi absolutely works as a plural because at the end of the series she quite literally is. So is Cyn if you count the solver. But other people nah I don’t really see it sorry)

Honestly I’m biased because I never liked AUs, all my fics stick to what could be wrapped around canon and still work easily. Not sure why, it’s just not really my thing

i think it’s odd that the main male cast in murder drones (n, thad, khan) are all very dumb-ified by the fandom. albeit a very specific group of people, not the entirety of the fandom. (my findings are just from reading md fanfiction + posts on tumblr and other websites)

like okay, you can joke that thad’s a himbo so making him stupid lines up with that. but for n and khan, they’re almost written as incompetent, they can’t do anything by themselves without their respective purple partners coming to help them and n is just your “soft uwu puppy boy” and khan’s your “silly dumb door obsessed guy“

which, when i think about it more, i find it weird. the main women in this show are actively shitted on no matter what they do, so you’d assume that they’d favor the guys, but then they just completely fuck them up like this and it makes me wonder if you don’t like any of the girls, and you misinterpret all of the guys, what the actual hell do you like this show for?
