Honestly?

I hope Till is angry. Angry Ivan didn't kill him. That Ivan left him alive in the world that has shown him nothing but cruelty, abuse and humiliation. A world without Mizi (or so he thinks). Angry Ivan didn't explain himself.

I hope he snaps in the Final Round. I hope he releases his anger and anguish, whether it be on Luka or the aliens themselves. I hope we get to see at least a glimpse of his former, fiery self, one last time, if he is destined to die.

I feel like the kind of parent Bruce Wayne is, with all his kids, he has to use clues to figure out which one he left behind at the grocery store.

It's too quiet. Shit. "Did we leave Dick-"

"Yeah," Tim said, not even looking up from his phone. "Cereal aisle."

Bruce sighs and turns the car around.

instead of wanting to kill Tim for replacing him, Jason just wants to piss him off a little to keep him on his toes. he does this by changing his name and getting a degree in teaching, and then becoming Tim's English teacher at Gotham prep.

Tim is losing his mind because he swears on his life that his predecessor is literally his english teacher and is literally failing him- and nobody fucking believes him.

Jason thinks it's the funniest shit he's ever managed to pull off. it gets funnier when while on patrol, Red Hood runs into the bats, and instead of helping the others fight him, Red Robin throws down his bo staff down and screeches at the top of his lungs 'STOP GIVING ME FUCKING DETENTION'

One of my favorite flavors of batfam angst is when one of the batkids—competent, independent, would-fistfight-a-god-stubborn vigilantes—would look for or scream for Bruce (not Batman but Bruce, Dad) when faced with something that’s got them truly shaken and at the end of their rope. Like, these are the Bats. Everyone’s either afraid or in awe of them but at the end of the day they’re still Bruce’s children. And if they’re ever pushed to the very limit, past the fight and the grit and the bravery, they know that Dad can do something about it. Dad will know what to do. Dad can fix it for them.

(Here is the thing about fathers, however. Behind the cowl and the cape and the broad shoulders, he is still only a man.)

Examples of Bruce’s “Dad Strength” as witnessed by various Robins throughout the years:

can and will bodily pick up any new Robin and bail as soon as gunfire starts on patrol

one time Bruce got out, physically ripped off a broken part of the Batmobile, and threw it in the backseat so he and Jason could keep chasing someone in the Narrows

ran home with Nightwing over his shoulder when he got shot

frequently lifts sewer grates/manhole covers like they weigh nothing

does push-ups with Robins on his back for a challenge

held onto the side of a building with just his fingers for ten minutes once when Steph’s grapple line broke and he had to help her back up

pulls hot dishes from the oven without mitts sometimes for Alfred (insists scar tissue on his hands means he can’t feel it, nobody fully believes him)

Damian swears he saw him kick a tree down once during training. A big tree.

Dick frequently catches him unscrewing screws in his prototypes with his bare fingers

Punches through walls????

can drink nothing but straight black coffee for several days before any signs of discomfort (this freaks out everyone but Tim)

Damian: Yes, but not important, Father has decided to crack down on the "no swearing" rule

Tim: Some situations deserve a fuck or two ya know?

Jason: Just ignore him. That's what everyone does when he gets uptight about stupid rules

Dick: No no, he's been like this a few times before. Here's what you do; wait until he's doing his "I am the scariest thing in Gotham" interrogation bit. Then hit him with the silliest "Gee Golly" you can manage. He'll be begging you to swear by the end of patrol

Tim: Dick you're a genius!

Dick: Don't spread it around. It'll ruin my cover

Prompt:

After Jason’s resurrection he finds that his body works… wrong somehow.

Some days he forgets to breathe until he wants to say something and finds there’s no air in lungs. Other days his body goes eerily cold until someone points out that his lips are blue and he needs to warm up.

And some days his heart stops beating in his sleeps.

It’s fine, really. It always starts again eventually a short while after he wakes up. And yeah, of course it was a bit scary the first couple times it happened but it’s not like his resurrection and Pit-dip came with an instruction manual, so this is probably pretty normal stuff, all things considered. He is kind of the definition of “undead”.

The real trouble starts when he forgets to mention those little details to the Batfamily when he stays over for the night.
