           Last year someone said 'Go Appelsap, it's sick.' We did; and it was.                     Applesap 2016. Flevopark, Amsterdam, 13th August 2016. LAST YEAR: Hopped out the uber in a haze daze. Sunny as fuck. Enter the rave - it's proper green and there's water in the middle of the park. Its the perfect size. It's not proper busy (yet), and ITS SICK. Straight to the main stage for Yung Internet, who set the tone for the day. Later the main stage saw Rich Home Quan, and even later, Mobb Deep. Mobb Deep. There was Noisey stage, bringing grime to East Amsterdam, with fiery sets from Jammz, Stormzy, Skepta, Mumdance & Novelist. Soulection had their own stage and it was VIBES in the sun & into the night, with Sango, Joe K, IAMNOBODI, & Esta providing mad flavours. Hand held voddy ‘an apple juice all round. Possibly the best non-camping festival we’ve seen, and definitely the best one day festival around round our endz. Can’t forget, the food was also fucking amazing.

THIS YEAR.... *drum-roll*....Fat Joe is headlining. Fat Joe. Lean back is 12 years old yano. All the way up. ALSO the the likes of Jazz Cartier, Lil Silva, D.R.A.M, FS Green, Benji B, Rejjie Snow will play, w/ another Noisey stage (cue Section Boyz, AJ Tracey, Elf Kid et al) ALL THIS, and the  main event will still be the homegrown Dutch talent on showcase: The likes of Adje & Cho, Yung Internet, DJ Vic Crezee, (hopefully) the whole of the Noah's Ark roster, and a personal favourite – FNMLAS. 🔥
