This concert by @somosguerreras3 was so inspiring and uplifting, I’m still walking on air. Each of these 3 women produces great music on her own, but together, their energy is unbelievable. I love hanging with women, who support and uplift each other without jealousy, just love. Last week my friend @nakurymc from #CostaRica performed at @musikundfrieden in #Berlin, with her sisdas @rebecalane6 from #Guatemala and @audryfunk from #Mexico . Last night was the premiere of "Martha - A Picture Story“ at Tribeca Film Festival. So happy for my girl that this wonderful movie got made about her and that it does her justice. Grateful that it was made by super talented Selina Miles. We had such a dope night and it seems like the critics enjoyed the film just as much as we did. Happy International Woman’s Day! One of the strongest women I know is my mum. This is her at age 7, with her dear and her dog. Six weeks ago, she had a brain bleed and for a long time, we didn’t know if we would get her back. But she’s a real fighter and pulled through. She still has a long way to go, but she can finally speak now and that’s such a big step. Thank you guys so much for all your love and support. It truly made a difference! A big shout out to all women out there, who are struggling and fighting and hustling, especially to all our wonderful mums, who support and love us unconditionally. My beautiful, kind, loving, brave, wonderful mom had a brain bleed on Monday. She’s been in a coma ever since, fighting for her life and all we can do is hope and pray that she will come back to us. Since there is nothing we can do, but kiss her, caress her, talk, read, and sing to her, some friends have told us they’ve put up candles for her. I’m only asking; that if you have a spare minute, send her some loving healing thoughts. Some people believe that if humanity would unite in one single positive thought, we could change the world. This little devil just moved in with me and will stay here, while we are trying to find her and her dad a new home. Any vets here?
