The P.K.E. Meter or Psychokinetic Energy Meter (also much less commonly referred to as an "aurascope", a term not used in the movies) is a handheld device invented by Dr. Egon Spengler that is one of the primary tools of the Ghostbusters. Its main function is to detect psychokinetic energy, with the amount detected directly relating to the possibility of a paranormal entity or activity being present. Later models added a taser function for dealing with corporeal entities. Spengler designed the meter to be user-friendly, with the side wings raising higher, the wing lights flashing, and a buzzing sound increasing to a higher pitch the closer one comes to the paranormal target. The voice mails in this game are insane. I just got one threatening to break Venkmans legs over money and another one saying some guys on a roof and that they need to come in case the fire department doesn’t get there in time.

I feel like no one ever acknowledges their dynamic but the scene where it's them in the ecto-1 talking about the end of days is one of the best in the movie. They're so cool.

I loveeee these two, they're so fun to me! The conversation in the car is such a good little insight into their connection.., plus the start of GB2 indicating they're sticking it out together for the business after Peter & Egon have branched off is so sweet (the bday party sceneeee). I need more about them.. thank you for the request!
