Today MJ made the lay out for the costumer report and making the finish on the text together with Kris. MJ made the little paper bicycle, people and lights for our little city. Ly and Eivind been working on the floor, the trees and buildings. Karina and Tobias made the light model in aluminum and in wood, Emilie made the plastic lights and drawing peoples experience to the report. Kris finished the bicycle light. We keep om, keep on working. Two days left to delivery.

Day 17
Tuesday! Today we forgot to play the game, Milk brought some AWESOME CHOCOLATE! we started with the miniature town and the metal sign
We were all over the place today! - Kris & Tobias made the bell lights - Jacob worked with the rendering - Karina worked on the sign with Tobias, usertesting and the village (YMCA) - Emilie made some awesome glasses, and watched Ly use the dreiebenk, and were able to cut her self on the backside of the saw - Mj worked with the people ( for the village)

Day 16
A new week begins and we are already really challenged.
This day was completely dedicated to a decision. We now have a final concept and also the design. Due to material bottlenecks we decided to build a small model city and to demonstrate our concept in a down-scaled version. Now the chatting is over and we start to use our hands. We become model builders!
The Air Alliance has discussed a lot about materials and form language in order to have the final product in front of our eyes. There is not much time left and it remains exciting how we deal with the time pressure until the presentation.

Day 14 and 15
These two days we split up into smaller groups to focus on different parts of the project. The different topics the groups were focusing on were Information, visualization and CAD.
We have been working like this for these two days and by Monday we are ready to do some user testing with the app and CAD product.
For visualization the group made a demo app that we added a service to the “bysykkel” app to show the air quality in the different area. The CAD group made another visualization for a lightbulb that are supposed to show the air quality with colored light. The location is thought to be by the bicycle rack for “bysykkel”.
During our morning meeting Milk got challanged to sit under the table for 15 minutes.

Day 13
After the morning-meeting, we started te day by making one muck-up each, of our favorite concept. After lunch we presented our mock-ups, this was followed by us voting for one concept that we wanted to work with for the last week. We decided on working with «lightballs», and combine them with the «bikebell».
After this, the leadergroup had to go for a guidance-session, we were then left alone to work on a user-journey map.

Day 11
Heeello blogg!
Today we had a productive day, starting the day of with narrowing our 4 concepts to 3 consepts. We choose to go with the consept 6: implementing to an existing product, consept 4: Fun aspect and consept 3: Balls.
Further on we used the method 6 hats way of thinking. This we did for all the 3 concepts. The methods gives us 6 way of thinking about the concepts.
At the end of the dey we met up with Nuria at our office and presented the 3 concepts to her. We got a lot of feedback from her about the concept, and drifferent ways of thinking.

Day 10
As always the day started with the morning meeting and the game (challenges for the day: we used the elevator for 2 minutes and stole a glitter lava lamp), we then talked about the meeting form day 9 with Johannes Daae. The christmas lights got a new life in our roof. We rewrote the must, should and could sheet. Then we talked about the consepts: 10 consepts --> 3-4 consepts.
The whole group left Emilie alone to play in the snow. ( I forgive them)

Day 9
Today we had a meeting with Johannes Daae at grønnpunkt’s offices in skøyen. We presented our project, and the concepts that we have made until now. We got a lot of interesting feedback from him on our process and the ideas.
He allso made a small presentation for us, on the topic «behavioral change».
After the meeting, we went to egon at byporten where we evaluated the meeting, ate pizza, and talked a bit about the next steps of the process.
On our way to Egon we saw an installation with sculptures that represented persons with different stories of how they got effected by the mines that caused loss of a leg.

We started the day with our usual morning meeting.
We where talking about our concepts and dividing them in to the categories: Strength, weakness and solutions.
We had 3-4 minutts drawing our ideas that we developed after our talk.

Day 7
We started our day with our daily game. Björn had a workout, Ly made a poem for Karina and Eivind likes to make fart-sounds with his mouth. Great job. Thanks for sharing.
Further on we made a list about what we MUST, SHOULD, and COULD bring into our project and solution. From this on we gathered each wishes and suggestions, which we used as a base for inspiration to our sketches.
There were ideas like a fountains, bus stops, installations, apps and so on.
Also, we had the meeting with our client today, Ivar Sorknes from Telenor, which was very informative, such as we did not have to ask too many question cause of his good way of presenting his stuff.
A great day for great sketches!

Day 6
We started the day, as always, with a morning meeting.
After, we were given a task, to research Ivar Sorknes for 15 minutes. When we were done, we had to come up with 5 questions up until lunch. Questions we can ask Ivar tomorrow at our meeting.
After lunch we were to present the questions, and then the awaited “FUN PART” would take place.
to decide what our group name would be, everyone grabbed some Post-its and got 30 seconds to write down a good name. This process got repeated for maybe 3 minutes. After, we gathered the names and selected our own favorite. We wrote it down on a piece of paper (A4) and then were to make a paper plane out of it, where we were given 8 minutes to finish the plane. After that we took them up to the top floor to see which of them flew the furthest. The paper plane that flew farthest had the winning name on it.
To decided logo we repeated the process.
Last task of the day was to go through the documents and links Nuria Castell send us. After approximately 2 hours we individually presented the information to the group.

Day 5
Today we started the day of with the program of the day and the game.
Challange: Make a poem to Emilie (almost the same poem):

Further on Kris were presenting for us about how the air pollution can effect your health and he showed us a video about how our body are reacting to the pollution.
After the presentation we used the “golden circle” for the questions we made yesterday. We asked all the questions with what, when, why, how, who, where. Meanwhile we also got an idea box that we can add ideas for the project during the process.
We started with the Design breif which we were devided in 2 groups to solve and further on we where working with the design breif together to make the topic goals.
The last thing we did before weekend was meeting our lovely client Nùria Castell. she got informed of out processe and receach we had done during the week.
It’s been a really good and educational week!

Day 4
We started our day with a little game to warm up. We got some challenges, and Jacob had a lil morning workout. Björn is a thief, and Milk shared some embarrassing experience, thanks for sharing!
Mj had a presentation from her homework, about NO2 and pH.
Then we startet a lot of brainstorming and made mind maps from the problems and why´s. All of the groups made a big mind map about our possible problem of situation, for further on work to end up with 3 possible problem situations.
How can we make people aware of air pollution and care without fear?
How can we provide the information in the right situation and location?
How can we provoke an excitement about the experience?
A good day for lots of ideas. The group seam motivated about further work.
We also had taco´s, norwegian style!

Day 3
Started the day with a morning meeting, there we discused the plan of the day and the lunch for tomorrow.
Today was the day we finally could use our LIMITED DESIGNER clothingrack, designed by us.
After the meeting we worked in 2 groups to find examples of installations for pollution awareness. Afterwards we discussed pros and cons, about each installations. Then we had lunch.
After luch we were introduced to the AMAZING game made by our group leaders, we were both punished with challenges & punishments and some were rewarded with candy.
We used the 5 - why’s to discuss some of the keywords we got from the earlier discussion about the installations.

Day 2
Desktop Reseach:
We were assigned to write down several post-it notes with the essens of the project. This helps to collect the information the group has gathered before the project brief with the group leaders. We had some information that overall that got us startet, and made us go deeper in each category. The Desktop reseach were usefull for all of the members to establish knowledge about the project. The more we did in the reseach the wiser we got.
Then we divided the project research into different categories together, using gigamapping. We divided it into these categories:

Moodboards:
Further on the groups made Moodboards regarding the project. This reflects the feelings around the pollution as well as some sollutions to get inspiration from.
Workshop:
Yesterdays workshop-acticity resulted in an ugly christmastree-foot. (we covered it in textile.) Martine allso lasercut all of our faces on plywood, we used this as ornaments on the tree. It allso functions as a way of showing who`s at the office as we hang up our own face when we get here every morning. All in all, the activity resultet in a standing christmas tree and some nice faces on it.
After School Activity:
We went to the Dart place. Ly killed all of us in one game :)

That was eventful! our first day in the design office is over and we learned a lot about the others.
The whole day was dedicated to getting to know each other and so we started with a little game to memorize the names of the team members and to learn some facts about each of them.
After a short photo shoot for our profile pictures, we continued with presentations about our partner company and possible solutions regarding our project theme. The group was impressed by the research, which was already done.
In the afternoon we presented the individual moodboards. Here we learned more about the others, which was interesting and brings us closer together as a team.
And we had to use that directly in a Workshop!
It was our task to build a Christmas tree stand and a wardrobe in 2 mixed groups. However, the time was too short to present a really satisfying product. It was more important to make up your mind and experience the design process in a short time in a new team.
That will be in demand in the next weeks! We are looking forward to the next days with more fun activities!
