out of scars; So, here's a heads up. I will be taking a semi hiatus from Thranduil for a bit. I feel as though I'm not doing his character any justice so I've taken it upon myself to purchase both 'The Hobbit' and 'The Silmarillion' in hopes that I can get a better grasp on him as he is. This hiatus does not extend to Legolas, however, while I feel about the same about his portrayal I view that misstep as more of a "new muse smell" I'll get into him a bit more while I search for Thranduil. I know I owe replies and starters to a couple of you and I'm sorry to push the releases on those back but I feel inadequate right now so it could be a bit. But, you all are welcome to keep tabs on me over on Legolas or even through skype, I'm practically always on it. Again, my apologies, but I feel as though me and Thranduil will both benefit in a little muse searching.

Getting real tired of your shit, badformroleplay!

  (You know, usually I say live and let live. 2014 has been a new year preceded by one that was just as good and difficult as the last. But it’s a new year. As good and bad as it’s been in only a few short weeks, it’s still a new year. And we the roleplayers of tumblr have had it with you. You’ve been heckling two individuals, Liv and Diya, for far too long now. And not just them, but them especially—Diya especially. Let me tell you something. You think cornering her and trying to make her give up in defeat is going to work, you’re wrong. We, her friends, absolutely refuse to. You’ve probably never heard of me because you’ve never heard from me. Well, that’s fine. The least that you need to know is that Diya is an extremely dear friend close to my heart. Call it a king and lionheart kind of thing, if you want. 

  Thing is, I’m not the only one out there. She’s surrounded by friends, in case you haven’t noticed, and we’re all tired of you singling her out for things you really have no business in publicizing. Whatever Diya’s done—that’s all in the past. Hey, if you like the kind of thing, become an expose reporter. Because we could sure use those types in the media. In the meantime, though? Leave her alone. She’s abundantly aware of what’s been done, and she’s working her ass off the rectify things and if not make them as they were, then at the very least recompense and come clean. Which she has, on numerous occasions. She’s human, though. She makes mistakes, and she’s aware of that. In fact, she’s not on pedestal; she’s queen potato! A cute one, but hey, that’s just me. 

  But yeah, about you. I’m not going to storm your inbox. Since your tracking specs are so good, you know we’ve never crossed paths. I’m not going to drop several nasty epithets or invade on anon and call you names or do anything along the lines. I’m a nice person. So we’re going to deal with you the nice way.

And by this, I mean for everyone who’s made aware of this, we’re going to do a neat little something: some nice little neutral action that I think the Dalai Lama would be proud of. 

  Everyone who sees this, reblogs this, or like this, I have some things to ask of you:

On your ignored users page, block the blog ‘badformroleplay' and hit the Report for harassment button a few times for good measure.

DO NOT CONFRONT OR BADMOUTH THEM IN A TAGGED POST. Starting a flame war will only feed the flames. We’re going to slowly and surely choke you out in the most damned nice way we can. 

DO NOT RESPOND OR ENGAGE ANY BADFORM ADMIN OR OTHERWISE AFFILIATED BLOG OR INDIVIDUAL. That means any posts or storming their askboxes. That’s a big no-no. Don’t encourage more hate when fighting fire with fire won’t achieve anything. (Hinthint: rprhapsody is a good example of this kind of blog. I’d say ignore them, but again, don’t talk shit or send hate—p e r i o d. That doesn’t make you any better, you hear?]

If you somehow get secondhand hate for supporting Diya and Liv, delete it—better yet, hit the ‘x’ button so the user who sends it can’t again. DO NOT RESPOND TO IT.

Overall, be kind and courteous. Don’t feed the trolls, don’t give them tinder for their fire, and just move along with your lives if you do it. 

I think that’s it. However, if you can, please spam Diya and Liv with as much love and support as you can. I’d really mean a lot to them, and I think make all our evenings a lot brighter.

So, go my pretties, and make this evening a ridiculously happy and positive and successive one—and let’s hope there’ll be one less place that promulgates hate on tumblr very, very soon~!
