🖤 My First Manga — and It Broke Me

Haru wo Daiteita was my first manga, and I fell hard. Katou and Iwaki — I walked with them, loved with them, grew with them.

Then Katou died. Peacefully, yes — but it was so sudden. No warning. No goodbye. It felt like he was just taken away. And it hurt more than I can explain.

I know peaceful deaths are supposed to be kind… but this one shattered me. I believe they reunite in the afterlife, and that helps — but the ache is still real.

Still, I’m thankful. They lived fully. They chose each other, always. And I’m grateful I got to love them too.
