small update and thoughts

Disney Fairies/Pixie Hollow as a fandom space needs everyone's support!

I wanted to say thank you to all of my followers of this blog, I am truly grateful to all of you.

However, for the longest time- I have felt bursts of motivation to be active and also a lot of slow periods. This in many ways seems to have happened in many other parts of the Disney Fairies fandom space.

Around the 2010s, there were a lot more active fandom blogs and often it feels like the fandom is dead. Tumblr burnout is a thing...

I really hope I can encourage and support artists on this blog as well as continue with future archival projects. I really hope that you will continue to support me as well and my posts don't end up buried.

If you have looked at my most popular post (the 1k Disney Fairies Japan website graphics), I'm hoping you'll be able to support my other archival projects here as well as ask any questions you may have about the Disney Fairies series. Since that post has often been mistagged as stationery, feel free to inquire more about it. (those aren't post it notes, they are graphics from the Disney Fairies website.)

I'm not begging for engagement, simply wanted to put out there the need for community and activity as we once did in the 2010s. We don't need to have back and forth banter, but I'm hoping you all will have continued support for the DF community on here and elsewhere. Not only that, I appreciate it deeply when you all send asks and engage with me on here.

I had the privilege to interview Mark Cote (ex art director) last October and it was a very special experience, however I have been disappointed when it comes to limited engagement. I want to share more of my experience with you (and will- though often have limited motivation to do so), so I'm hoping you will stay engaging with the blog! Thanks!
