At the end of June I applied to be part of a project creating a mini tarot deck (just the major arcana) based on AMCs Interview with the Vampire series. Well so many people were interested that, with over 80 artists and writers involved, the project grew to be a FULL tarot deck.

the deeper i go down the rabbit hole that is vampire literature (it’s been 16 years), the more i’m convinced that not a single person who produced these iconic vampire tales was heterosexual/or alternatively: cis. yes the vampires are queer by their very nature for several reasons but also because of the additional fact that none of the bitches who wrote about them were hetero/cis, and they were projecting 😭

so uh… who was going to tell me that the woman who wrote anne rice’s biography “prism of the night” and books like “the vampire companion”, “the anne rice reader”, “the anne rice trivia book” and “the witches’ companion” was the professor of the person who killed those idaho university students (bryan kohberger)? i double and triple checked… am i tripping?
