I think what hurts Fadel the most is not that he believed in Style because he didn't, not completely, he always thought something was off, but the fact that he wanted to believe, part of him was hoping he was wrong and Style and Kant were really just two ordinary guys that happened to cross paths with him and Bison without ulterior motives, no trap, no lies. And then he dared to dream with a life without killing, where he could love freely without fear of losing the one he loved because of his job and he was already picturing Style as that person the one who would stay. They say that the worst feeling is to believe that something is possible only to have that taken away from you and Fadel is experiencing it and what's even more heartbreaking is that it's not the first time for him and second time is even worse because he should know better by now or so he thought.
