"That human was stupid then. An idiot--no that's an insult to idiots---any blind fool can see what you are," Owl placed a finger on his lips, thinking. "Hey, do you like cake? I baked some for Hatta earlier but he wouldn't eat it. I'm certain it's good---would you like some?"

That only made the bird laugh more. “Ah ah~ Am I now? I suppose I am….” He trailed off, purple hues glancing over the younger’s form in thought.

"I suppose you’re wondering why I look like this—-well, I can’t explain it either, really." He shrugs, taking a seat on bench nearby with a wave. "But I’m not the only one it’s happened too—perhaps it’s something wrong with our home, but I’m not complaining. This body is much better for taking naps." He waved a finger. "Now, you didn’t answer my question, little one. What happened?"
