Anyone else still get inappropriately excited about Keith Haring’s Cinelli mountain bike from 1986? Damn, and those black bullmoose bars too... 📸: Thomas Hoepker (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CLKr00wlQ2T/?igshid=1gov1xt4obwc3

This beautiful little micro ecosystem is right outside one of our favorite cutty graveyard shortcuts to get us from Brooklyn deeper into Queens, and towards some mtb trails that are actually within city limits. Nestled directly between the graveyard exit and some freight train tracks, there’s always a bunch of outdoors feral cats hanging out here if you want to stop and pet some cats. They’re seemingly well fed and have made quite a lovely home in the back of this headstone shop by all the hay bails. Such a nice and quaint little business and a friendly reminder that we are just temporary here on this planet, so enjoy yourself, do your best, be as good as you can be to your fellow human beings, and always stop and say hi to the animals, their time here is even shorter A long overdue installment of the #biciculturalanthropology series (at Queens, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CKhS5ueFD_o/?igshid=1x8os5vsn8f0v

Well we’re still dizzy after getting off that ride. Will be a while before our senses come back around to normal. But now we have a whole new administration to hold accountable here in the states. Here’s hoping we’re on the right track. #playitfaster (at Washington D.C.) https://www.instagram.com/p/CKSB8-olnPG/?igshid=1knney2zwnzo8

Riding in New York during the middle of a pandemic has been a trip lately. Not being able to travel for trips to go ride, nothing is normal, work is spotty and life here is expensive. Here’s a few shots from exploring cemeteries, trails, and deep queens in trying to find a sense of sanity and normality lately. This has been a really hard time for us over here. How are you getting by? How are you all doing? #trailslikethese (at New York, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJt1JbzFbvx/?igshid=m844a9m38npk

How many of our friends here started their journey through cycling with track bikes? Did it evolve your view of what you though cycling was? (at Brooklyn, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CHx5Yn-lija/?igshid=q2u8cafvc883

If you came up in cycling through BMX, there’s no doubt you know New York BMX OG Joey Piazza and his grind combo wizardry, or maybe more so for his AM:PM video projects and their amazingly curated soundtracks... For the first time in what feels like a long time, Joey’s got some new shirts made(and more on the way!) and he was nice enough to hand deliver to me here in New York. Joey’s always got projects and creative things in the works, so keep your eyes peeled and show him some love along the way. Thanks for everything you do for BMX Joey! Hey all, @jpbevins here. Gonna take a few minutes to be real about the current state of things in the world, and what we can do to change it. As some of you know, and as a lot of you probably don’t, I run No Life out of my apartment here in Brooklyn, NY. Both a blessing and a curse here. Where experiences, rapid progression, and the pace of communal change can definitely make up for the incredibly high cost of living. I started No Life as a place for stories and photos through the unifying undercurrent of cycling. Stories that magazines or other blogs wouldn’t take or publish. I wanted to host free events, and teach low-cost and fun photography classes, both of which I have done, but not nearly as much as I’d like. I started No Life an escape from the exploitative boys club of the cycling community that does not support you, follow you, or even acknowledge you if you’re not part of the club or directly benefiting them. I started No Life for my friends and peers that wanted a platform to have their voice and vision amplified, and I’m still figuring out ways to accomplish that goal. And I still need help. If there was one thing I was good at when I started this project, it was gaining traction on social media, and I saw that as something that I could give back to my community. I initially shared the black out Tuesday post, only to be told from a few people that it’s not truly helping anything. With that in mind, I archived the post and thought about this feedback deeply for a few days. No Life stands in solidarity with Black Lives Matter. Police need to be de-militarized and held accountable for their actions. Systematic racism and oppression needs to be dismantled and fucking trashed. If there’s anything social media has taught us lately it’s that we can adjust our behavior and our actions in real time, through incredibly valuable feedback from our community. That’s the most important thing we can learn lately, is to listen and learn, and to adjust our behaviors and responses in real time. If you need or want to use No Life as a platform to amplify your voice, or share your perspective, please don’t hesitate to DM or email. #BLACKLIVESMATTER (at Brooklyn, New York) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBJFjtmHTgL/?igshid=1uu79ie3q3wli

AARN has made some of our favorite chainrings ever. And they just happen to be back in stock right now over on his website. As always, they sell out QUICK! Aaron over at AARN makes some of the best, long lasting track rings and the best narrow-wide rings we’ve ever ridden, and coincidentally have known him for well over a decade at this point. Great guy, doing things right. Use that stimulus if you got one, and go stimulate the people and brands in cycling you love and care about!! shop.44rn.com (at Somewhere In Brooklyn) https://www.instagram.com/p/B_QnJkRHkJA/?igshid=rik3jm6nlp6n
