The entire chapter was fire writing throughout but this final moment was a fucking gut punch because HE’S STILL FUCKING MOURNING!

Reading through the later chapters, part of me hoped that Uzuki would be able to redeem himself but at this point, he’s too far gone and the only thing that’s gonna stop him is death which says a lot in a series that is strictly anti-killing.

Anyways, excited to see where this all goes.

Sakamoto Days Theory: The Trench Coat Man Is Oki

I’ve seen a lot of speculation on who this person is throughout the community. Is it Gozu? Is it an Order member? GAKU COMEBACK CHAPTER 204? Well, I’m here to give my evidence as to why this person is definitely Oki.

1) Before the group makes their way to the next floor, Torres says this line. This implies that he knows that something is going to interfere with the group which most likely refers to the cloaked person we see heading over to the jail. This narrows down the character possibilities to the Order which should make things easier.

2) We can now use process of elimination to determine who makes the most sense to arrive to the building in a trench coat:

-Shishiba is always seen wearing a suit and we’ve seen so much of him at this point that this outfit change would just be jarring. This eliminates him as a possibility

-Osaragi’s outfit is also way too iconic and just like Shishiba, we’ve seen enough of her for this outfit change to be jarring so this also eliminates her

-Kanaguri may wear a trench coat, but he is currently way too wrapped up in Akira and whatever is going on with Uzuki to investigate the JAA Jail which eliminates him.

-Kamihate does have similar baggy clothes underneath his cover, but him and Heisuke are best friends now so it wouldn’t make sense for him to be the final antagonistic presence of the arc.

-Torres is literally already in the jail so he’s obviously eliminated.

-Tanabata may make a lot of sense since we haven’t seen much of him unlike Torres, but a trench coat just wouldn’t fit in with the aura of his character in my opinion. However, I will admit that he is the second best possibility as to who this person could be.

This leaves us with the final Order member, Oki. However, outside of the process of elimination, there is other evidence to suggest that he is the man in the trench coat.

3) Oki was the person who assigned Torres to take care of Atari, so it wouldn’t nake sense for him to investigate the mission, especially considering how poorly it has gone.

4) Oki is the only Order member who still has an unknown fighting gimmick, so it would make sense for it to be revealed sooner or later.

5) A trench coat fits with his aura, just trust me.

The recent chapter was really intense and I’m really excited to see where this arc is going to go from here. However, now that Taro is here with him most likely arriving with Torres, I have to wonder how exactly that conversation went lmao. I imagine it went something like:

“Alright. I’m done fighting you for the day, Torres. I have to head over to the JAA Jail to rescue my employees from-“

“Will heading to the jail save me from my debt in any way?”

“…uh, I mean there’s a fortune teller that-“

“Fuck it. I’m in.”
