Hey guys I think there’s something wrong with my copy of Date Everything….

So! Parallel with me getting super invested in Deltarune after chapters 3 and 4 released, a friend has been super into Date Everything, and I realized that the concepts of Living Inanimate Objects is a consistent theme for both games! So! I decided to make Date Everything versions of my fav characters, Mr. Ant Tenna and Spamton G. Spamton. For fun and enrichment.

I even came up with backstories for them!

Mr. Ant Tenna is now Ray Cathodey, a well-used CRT that you, the player, found second-hand at a neighborhood junk sale last month while thrifting for new furniture to furnish your then-new home. Initially you were planning on re-gifting it to a friend of yours who is super into retro-gaming, but after acquiring the date-viators you realized that just because the tv was second hand doesn’t meant it’s lost its spark.

Ray comes on strong with a vivacious 80s game show host persona, complete with a booming voice and his very own set of mini games and quiz shows. Don’t let the bravado and braggadocio fool you. Underneath all his vibrant phosphorus glow is a nervous wreck who fears he may be past his prime. But can you blame the poor guy? You got him at a garage sale, stuck him in a box in your attic, and were planning on giving him away at Christmas! But maybe you can win him over with a few well-answered quizzes and a game or two…

Spamton G. Spamton is now Warren T. Postspam, a strange email you can never seem to get rid of, no matter how many times you drop him in the trash. He’s a mysterious, roguish character who insists he’s only interested in dropping off “your mail”, but be warned. Warren runs with a rough crowd of cyber criminals. Don’t go owing him any favors or buying into any of his questionable links. You never know what part of the internet you end up in with him at your heels.

You can often find Warren hanging out near mail slots, trash cans, or your desktop computer, loitering, smoking a love letter or two, and chatting up any other dateable object that can stand being within ten feet of him, much to Dorian’s deep disgust and dismay. He seems to have something of an interest in Ray Cathody, like the two of them have a sordid history. Or maybe it’s just your imagination…? Ahh. Nevermind. He’s just be trying to scam the old guy into buying an extended warranty he doesn’t need. With your credit card. Sheesh.
