Here’s the story: I bought my grandma an EXACT replica of this robe for Christmas this past year.

My grandma never saw OFMD, but she was declining in health to the point that some days she couldnt change out of her PJs; she hated feeling “unkempt”, so I wanted to gift her something that she’d feel pretty in, even on days she didn’t have the energy to put on real clothes.

When I found the replica of this robe, I knew it had to be hers. It is GORGEOUS, lovely velvet, heavy material, was supremely comfortable.

This robe delivered in spades in making my grandma feel good about herself, all the way until her final day. She sadly passed away a few weeks ago.

After mourning her, my aunt (her caretaker) asked if I wanted a sentimental keepsake from her home. I immediately remembered the robe and asked if I could have it, as it brought my grandma so much joy, and it would be nice to wear it and think of her.

Unfortunately, all of my grandmas clothes had already been donated… including this robe.

I don’t know where for sure the robe was donated to, BUT realistically, it’s at the Good Will in Manahawkin, NJ.

I live out of state, and sadly won’t be back any time soon…but if anyone who lives in the area happens to stumble across it and return it to me, I would be FOREVER grateful!

On Oct. 17, Texas plans to execute Robert Roberson, an Innocence Project client who has spent over 20 years on death row for a crime that never happened.

Robert faces the risk of becoming the first person in the U.S. executed based on the discredited “shaken baby syndrome” theory.

Mr. Roberson left school after completing 8th grade with undiagnosed autism spectrum disorder — which impacts how people communicate and interact with others. Symptoms of autism can include avoiding eye contact, “unusual” mood or emotional reactions, the appearance of indifference, fixation on details that strike others as “abnormal,” and difficulty expressing feelings.

Hospital staff, who did not know that Mr. Roberson has autism, were suspicious of his flat affect and interpreted his response to his daughter’s condition as lacking emotion. They viewed his inability to explain Nikki’s condition as a sign that he must be lying.

I was surprised that Go Fund Me refunded all the money from my active campaign and I only had one dollar left. I was back to square one after a lot of hard work and effort trying to raise money to get my family out and rebuild our lives.

The amount of misinfo and misleading statements in one post is just mind blowing. Even the seasonal allergies is based on a small amount of anecdotal evidence. “Slave labor quinoa” do you think vegans are the main consumers of quinoa? Are you aware that much of the worlds plants that are harvested go towards feeding livestock animals, and that we would need way less of it if we ate less animals?

I’m not here to defend people saying that bees are mashed up into a paste to make honey, but boy, are you people selective in which vegan arguments you choose to engage with. Instead of acknowledging animal rights abuses in the industry, you’d rather point and laugh at one person who is misinformed.

We know you don’t kill bees to make honey. We just don’t think the only bad thing that you can do to animals is killing them.
