Mamdani can't win NYC without the Jewish vote (which his supporters on Twitter don't seem to understand), which means he's going to have to inevitably make a very public statement that he doesn't actually want Israel destroyed.
At which point the DSA will abandon him.
#every new york jew i follow either voted mamdani or were publicly campaigning for him before#political commenters and comedians alike

I'm pretty universalist and steadfast in my belief that every single living person on this planet deserves basic human rights, dignity, and respect, but being a 31 year old that calls Andrew Cuomo (a known sex pest with over 30 women he victimized) "Daddy Cuomo" pushes me reaaaaaal close to dropping all of that.
#ived seen so many cuomo voters who ranked mamdani second and its like beloved i think you just dont know much about politics#thank god for ranked choice tho

Mamdani's is not the only significant victory tonight. Shahana Hanif, a City Councilmember representing Brooklyn, including Park Slope, won her primary against a Zionist-funded opponent that made Israel and supposed claims "antisemitism" central to their campaign, often with Islamophobic rhetoric.
Councilwoman Alexa Avilés, representing South Brooklyn, including Red Hook, won a similar challenge due to her support of Palestine and calls for ceasefire. Her opponent was likewise a Zionist-funded pro-Israel candidate who tried making Israel the centerpiece of the campaign.
And Mamdani, of course, beat Cuomo in a stunning upset, who had universal name recognition and 3x the funding provided by Michael Bloomberg, Doordash, Bill Ackman, and other groups, in a race that put Israel front and center.
There are a few takeaways: one, this was an election about New York, not Israel; two, these false claims of "antisemitism" are being exposed for their vacuity and Zionist function; and three, the Democratic party base has now moved to a pro-Palestine position, far away from the establishment, which remains pro-Israel and will do anything to retain power—including running and supporting an unpopular sexual predator with bad policy.

Zohran Mamdani has almost certainly won New York City's mayoral primary. Next week's Ranked Vote tabulation will make the results clear, but Lander's and Adrienne's votes will overwhelmingly go to Mamdani, who will face Sliwa and incumbent Eric Adams in the general election. It's unclear if Cuomo will also mount an independent run.

why bother caring about the environment when 1. It’s so obviously a lost cause and 2. There’s definitely going to be a nuclear war?
And what are you doing about it Anon? Learn about ecological restoration or get out of my way.
