Hey, do you by any chance know why there’s two lesbian flags (lipstick lesbian and the one with the axe)?

the lipstick lesbian flag is meant specifically for femme lesbians. however, it’s often used as a general lesbian flag, due to the labrys flag having unpleasant associations with terfs. ALSO unfortunately, it was recently revealed that the creator of the lipstick lesbian flag is a racist and a biphobe (id link to the source but i lost the link, so if anyone could find that for me, that would be lovely!) so many people have tried their hand at designing a new one

when we talk about how people are allowed to learn from their mistakes, admit they were wrong, and grow to be a better person that 100% has to apply to older adults as well as young kids/teens.

there’s no age where it’s too late for someone to change.

there’s no age where once a person has grown past it they are no longer allowed to ever make mistakes or make up for them.

change and growth are not things that only young people can do and they are not things that we should only support in young people. holding something some said 5, 10, 20 years ago against them when they’ve already apologized for it and moved on from it is just as fucked up if you’re doing it to someone in their 20s or someone in their 40s or older.

Hmm… you might be right about that. I try not to block too many people out of a desire for civil debate to be allowed, but it does seem like there’s very little of that and vastly more hate, trolling, amd just blantant disregard for treating us like people. Especially after a bigger blog reblogs one of our posts.

I’d like to ask what our non-hate followers think about this. Should we be more willing to block hateful blogs?

Recently in: “Cis people and the way they approach things.”

I was talking to a cis bi woman, along with one of my girlfriends who is a trans lesbian, and the fact that I’m also intersex came up in conversation. Specifically the fact that I’ve had period cramps/symptoms since I was 16, grew breasts at that age, etc., and the things which cause that.

And at that point in the conversation the cis woman immediately goes “Oh so you’re not really trans then.” 

Like..she was SO eager to jump to that. Like it made her more comfortable to get that idea in her head. I had to immediately explain that no…I am still a woman who was assigned male at birth. I still experienced the life that a closeted little trans girl experiences. I didn’t hit puberty and have everyone go “Oh, okay, this is a girl”, I hit puberty and had everyone go “what is wrong with this boy, he’s a freak, and we should abuse him even more”.

She still didn’t seem convinced, although she let it drop. 

Like most cis people really don’t seem to get the idea that the only thing separating us is a birth assignment that is incredibly arbitrary and they actively reject that reality when it’s brought to their attention. It’s why terfs really really don’t like being reminded that intersex people exist and that we can be cis or trans and that their rhetoric harms all of us regardless. It means that someone bearing one of those uteri that they hold up as being the “fount of womanhood” might exist in an amab person and that just wears even more holes in their bullshit. So they pay lip service to intersex people and act offended when anyone brings us up.

violentantitruscum is a FARCE. At least, in my dealings with them.

This blog apparently recived a submission from an unknown person (I say unknown because I personally have no clue who they are). The aforementioned submission contained this screen shot which I reblogged to my blog in order to reply to,

As well as the screen shot from my blog that the submissioner took the time to sent to VAT, is my comments of indignation at the post as well as another truscum commenting on it, offering help. 

What the VAT and the submissioner didn’t even bother to check was that this mild (come on fucking being stung by horse flies and slipping in dog shit is way more gross than harmful compared to the shit my abuser truscum did) vent, becaues it was a vent, was that it was provoked by a truscum threatening to send her pictures of her penis to me. She threatened to SPAM me pictures of her penis, because I was not truscum–and another trusucm had the gall to ask for reciepts to my plight, as if me, a victim of rape and now further sexual assault, would fucking lie about that.

Anyway, here’s the proof of all that transpired with the two abusive truscum, that VATS and the submisser didn’t even fucking TRY to ask for or look for on my blog.

I had gotten no sorry, no apology from VATs who’s recklessness as not fact checking a submission could have caused me more abuse from any unsavory truscum like the original attack to threaten me with more genital pics or worse. So, I sent a message to VAts this morning, and this is whay I recieved in turn,

You are running a blog with delicate content, you cannot afford to make mistakes, and yet you don’t even fact check or investigate a submission you recieve?? You don’t try to understand the full story, that I was being threatened to be sexually assaulted with pictures of a truscum womans penis because I wasn’t a trusucm? That I took to my blog to vent abut again not being believed by truscum or trusucm having the gall to rudely demand recipts (which I would have given easily had they not been so god damn rude/ see how right off the bat I gave the nice truscum ample evidence because I was asked nicely) and then that I AM TO BLAME for speaking out against an abuser and against a comuntiy that until a-devil-in-black-converse has done NOTHING to condemn my attacker?

You do not care about cleaning up your own community if you are quick to slander victims of trusucm violence, not willing to hold your own accountable, not willing to fucking fact check the story, and then giving a half assed apology when you screwed up that further demonizes me WHEN YOU WERE IN THE FUCKING WRONG.
