We all pretend like nothing get to us, but in reality it crushes us. 6 months ago, I was sitting in the middle of nowhere, on top of dunes in the Sahara and I started crying. I started crying for personal reasons, but mostly because I felt trapped and owned. Crying actually felt good somehow. I told myself to be patient and that was the key. Today, I feel free and that’s the most important thing in your life. And whenever I face hardship, or it’s not going as planned (cuz lol I like to be in control) or get sense achievement, I remember this day. The day I had to face my feelings; face myself. It’s so mysterious how my Mom never thought about passing on the “Kardoune” tradition to her daughters. I met those girls on my way out of the MET museum in NYC. They asked me to take a picture for their IG I suppose, and they were like " hey we saw you taking pictures of those girls, you look like a decent photographer; can you take us?" I was waiting for my friend outside and the place was so crowded, I was like " yes sure! And I love your outfits by the way ". And they said thanks. They were probably best friends. Love how NYC is so diverse in terms of everything, but mostly how people express themselves through clothing.Anybody spotted the girl on the right wearing north african patterned Caftan 🙌🏼 ! Dear readers,

For those who are left - Ha..

Time passes by and as we follow the flow, we change, we evolve and this is why I decided to focus less on tumblr. It was more of a personal diary and felt like nobody was reading. I am more active on Instagram now, my writings are shared on my profile, the link is in the side bar.

I will never shut this blog down. I’ll still pay those 20$ fees annually lol, because I care about my archives, I care about what I’ll leave on the internet, which is a piece of me...really...and who knows maybe my children, if I have children one day inchAllah, will read my blog? Who knows.
