what a great era. and i know we've practically come to the end of it, as the release of persona deluxe and the end of the first leg of the tour symbolises transition into the post album slump, but it's hard to be sad about it.

by all but a few metrics, this has been a perfect era. consistent branding free of ai, a range of styles and extra releases post rollout, a hell of an album and a deluxe version to boot. it's been so amazing, and i've gotten them opportunity to meet and speak to half alive fans - both new on persona and old ones who weren't fans of coap but came back for something new.

all this to say, what an excellent album and persona era. ive really loved it, and though there's a little bit of sadness that this is the end of new releases for the next couple of years, i don't think there could have been a better way to see it off.

they've really found themselves, and i can't wait to see what world they take us to next.

went to a concert. saw a cool shirt. yesterday i bought $75 worth of pizza and i thought hm maybe i shouldn’t spend so much in two days. didn’t buy the shirt. stepped one foot on the train and was blasted with a wave of regret.
