My View of the Quote of the Day
This quote in of itself is very sad. I sadly have not seen this anime as of yet, but I sure plan to do so in the future at some point.
This quote seems to come from a young child trying to talk to someone, god, that could hopefully help her understand. You even see her put the blame onto herself and call herself useless.
Taking in this quote hurts honestly. Having this young girl calling herself useless hurts deeply because I know what it can be like to feel useless. I have called myself useless, and I still think I’m fairly useless.
Forgetting such a thing about how you thought, or still think, of yourself can hurt so much when that gets brought back to the front of your mind by some outside force. When you’re just sitting and the thought comes unbidden into your brain when you think that that was over cuts so deeply.

Are you listening god? The thing is, mom and dad don't like each other anymore. And it's my fault for being such a useless daughter.

My Insight On the Quote of the Day
This quote hits hard in the sense of looking at oneself. I look at this and can’t help but try to think of myself and see where I fit.
Am I kind? Do I smile brightly? Am I wise in any way?
When looking at different quotes, especially like this one that tends to jump out and speak to you, it’s hard to not think of yourself as the person or that you have one of the traits given.
What’s the use of philosophy anyway if you don’t use you mind to think about these quotes? (If that question even made sense *huff*)
If we don’t think about these quotes within the sense of the world, are we really living? What’s the use of trying to understand yourself when it tends to feel ultimately useless?

The loneliest people are the kindest. The saddest people smile the brightest. The most damaged people are the wisest. All because they don’t wish to see anyone else suffer the way they did.
