Happy FNaF 3 Anniversary! + Small Update
Happy Five Nights at Freddy's 3 Anniversary! Today we just wanted to give a bite-sized update for all of you.
Progress on One Week at Just Freddy's is continuing steadily! We are finally getting more fully complete rooms implemented into the game, which is extremely exciting. Lighting is being finalized for said rooms as well.
As much as we'd like to show this off, we will be saving it for our next trailer, which is now in the early stages of being created. The trailer will show off the gameplay, some of the animations, and our voice cast! As well as a general release window.
We anticipate March will be a very busy month for our development team outside of OWaJF, so we are aiming to get the trailer out in April. Stay tuned!

One Week at Just Freddy's: December Devlog + Delay
Welcome to our second One Week at Just Freddy’s Devlog! We’ll be going over a few things today, some good, some bad. But regardless we are excited to share more information about OWaJF to you all!
youtube
First of all, here's some gameplay footage of the office, including a look at the breakroom. This shows off a large portion of the mechanics in OWaJF that you can use for defense. Including a Freddy Fazbear mask, the break room door, the desk itself, and a flashlight. All mechanics being tied to a different Freddy Fazbear.
This footage also shows off the cameras for the first time! With a proper in-game look at the stage, and some of the animation you’ll expect to see on the cameras.
Now, onto the bad news, despite the amazing progress we’ve made on One Week at Just Freddy’s, we do not think that we are going to be able to complete it in a state we are happy with by the end of 2024.
When we set out for a 2024 release, that was before a lot of unexpected behind the scenes things happened, nothing bad, but things we didn’t account for in planning. So, rather than crunching and forcing out a worse game for you all, we will be delaying the game to a 2025 release. We apologize for the delay, but hope you understand that we are working hard to make this game something we can be proud of.
Now, back to the game itself. Since our last devlog, we revealed and showcased Toy Freddy and Nightmare Freddy! Our lineup now officially consists of Freddy Fazbear, Toy Freddy, Withered Freddy, Phantom Freddy, Nightmare Freddy, and Funtime Freddy. However, we have never given you a proper look at Funtime Freddy- so have a closer look!
(not an in-game screenshot) You’ve now had a full look at six of the Freddy’s in the location, and we are reaching the end of our list here pretty soon. So we’d like to say there’s a total of NINE Freddy’s you can face off against in One Week at Just Freddy’s. Can you guess the final three? Or even do a little digging for them?
As for things we need to finish, it’s not much different than last time. Animation, texturing, and art are the largest parts of the game left to complete. Progress on all three are in full swing now, but as we said in the August Devlog, it is a slow process.
Additionally, we have cast most of our voice actors for the game! It's been a great process working with them, and from what's been finished we are very happy with the results. We look forward to sharing our cast, and their lines, with you eventually! Before this Devlog ends, We'd like to quickly showcase some of what we’ve been working on individually, with notes from the artists if they wish.
One of our 2D artists, Hal, has continued working on the in-game promotional art, here’s a work in progress of one of them!
Hal: "Been drawing everyone’s favorite bear, Helpy! Honestly, it’s been hard working on this while having work at the same time."
Another of our 2D artists Kadence has been working on arcade machine art! Here’s just one of the arcade machines that has their art on it!
Our final 2D artist, Fio, has been working on a big gameplay element from the beginning of production that has yet to be shown, that being the GUIDEBOOK! Here’s your first look at it! It details behaviors, quirks and an illustration of every Freddy. You unlock new entries as you complete nights, or die trying.
Io, on top of doing a large portion of the coding and bug fixing, has also been composing for OWaJF! Here’s the main title theme for the game!
youtube
Nova, one of our coders and 3D artists, has been largely working on the nitty gritty parts of modeling such as UV Unwrapping, as well as working on the final models that need to be implemented. The breakroom is one of many examples of her modeling and UV work!
Nova: "I love Uv Unwrapping :( 👍👍"
Alan, our director, 3D artist, and animator has largely been working on texturing and 3D animation. You can see his texturing throughout the Devlog, but here’s a look at an animation that was actually cut from the game. You can expect (many) animations like this in the final product!
That's all for this Devlog! Thank you all once again for your support and patience. We can’t wait to get this game out to you all.

One Week at Just Freddy's: August Devlog
Welcome to our first Devlog for One Week at Just Freddy’s! One Week at Just Freddy’s was announced over three months ago; how time flies in game development. This project log will primarily be about getting you all up to speed on the game's current state as well as discussing how much more we have to do.
But before that: Here's your first look at an in-game screenshot! This is showcasing, of course, the office. Very Freddy heavy, as you can see. There's even more to the office space than what's shown here, but that will have to wait for another time.
Earlier this month we also revealed Phantom Freddy as an addition to our roster! It seems that its not just the physical past of Freddy in this place.
But now, onto the nitty gritty of development. What state is the game in? Whats been done, and whats there left to do?
So, good news: One Week at Just Freddy’s is almost completely beatable from start to finish. The gameplay is nearly complete. There are still some small things to be polished up and implemented, but as a whole, the game is technically playable. However, this does NOT mean that the game is near completion. The game is currently in a stage of production where a majority of the assets or animations are placeholders or aren’t finished. (See below what most rooms currently look like.)
So, the biggest thing left is largely the art portion, which as you'd imagine, is extremely time-consuming. We are a small team, so it may take a while. But we are still pretty confident in a 2024 release, so we ask you to just be patient.
OWaJF went into full production all the way back in January, and the reason we waited five months to announce the game is that we wanted to make sure we could do it. Rest assured, the likelihood of canceling this project is extremely low. We have made it this far, after all.
To end this, we at null input would like to extend a thank you for everyone's support. The traction the reveal trailer got was staggering, and the number of followers and comments on the Game Jolt page has been wonderful to see. So, thank you for your excitement and interest in the game; we look forward to showing it all off. We’ll continue to post teasers and more snippets of information in the upcoming months, but please be patient!
