I’m a wanderer.
I like to let my mind run free and satisfy its hunger for whatever it needs to survive. I like to let it feed and feed until it fills itself to capacity.
Then I let it digest.
I woke this morning determined to get a leg up on work that I need to do. But here I am, many hours have gone by and yet I still haven’t done a thing.
Or have I?
I’m not sure that you can relate to this if you’re not a wanderer like me, but if you’ve ever found yourself wondering how in the world the time moved so quickly while you stood frozen, then you know how it feels. And if you don’t know, then you may be surprised to learn how good it feels to do nothing.
Don’t you get to thinking I don’t know how bad of a habit it is. After all, if we’re not proactive, productive, and studious, then what are we? Who are we, the ones who wake up and do nothing? Who are the ones that let their brains feed until exhaustion and forget the flavors and meals soon after?
Who are the wanderers?
