okay but imagine post-thunderbolts bob growing out a beard. he's got a lot of time to spare when everyone else is going out on missions and he's just wondering around the tower. so he doesn't even mean to do it, just stops shaving for a few days.

you barely notice it until he shaves again and you tease him about the five-o-clock shadow he'd been sporting.

then it happens again when you're out on a longer mission, a week long excursion that has you pent up and needy for his touch.

you notice it faster that time, when it scratches at your neck as he sucks a bruise onto your jaw. the feeling heightens your senses, making you so much more aware of what he's doing as he moves lower.

"didn't shave again?" you ask, but you don't move to stop him. if anything it feels good, better than you'd imagined. it tickles your stomach, forcing a breathy laugh out of you before it quickly turns into a moan.

imagine the stubble dragging along your skin as he kisses along your thighs, lips slow and gentle in sharp contrast to the burn of his beard.

"missed you." he whispers, unaware of the sensations he's lighting up your nerves with.
