"less polished" or... hard to believe but... thats just his face?? he just doesnt need to have the same copypasted face as someone else? some people have non average facial features, some people have droopy eye shapes, etc??

i wanted to elaborate on that but forgot and found it again scrolling through my blog so here i go

horror as a genre can very much be a space for dealing with your fears. it is a sandbox where The Horrors are contained and defeatable so you can live out facing them.

lyney wishes he could protect lynette from The Horrors. he could not have Let That Happen to her. he studies the horror movies - for shows, he says, but isn't it also a space to learn The Horrors, expect them, be more ready for them, think what would you do, see where the heroes fall short? to take on the protector hero role and save the day?

lynette, however, as the firsthand target, i think she simply would much rather The Horrors have not happened to her at all. so she does not come back to them. she looks in the movies for soft things, for a respite, for a gentler world where she doesnt have to look behind her shoulder for the assaillants.

omg lynette wanting to watch soft and relaxing media hits so close to my heart when i remember shes a trauma survivor... i too have experienced and continue to experience too much of The Horrors in live so i enjoy me some soft cute books cartoons and games unbeleaguered by The Horrors. when i read nowadays its mostly fairytales and books with kitties in them

i can quite confidently say this event has been one of the most unpleasant ones in my genshin history.

i do not want to play with random people. i am not comfortable with random people. im fine with it for these silly minigames with chasing targets into gates and whatever. but kazuhas ult makes me motion sick/gives sensory overload. and everyone and their mother uses that motherfucker. im not comfortable with telling random people who to use. i cant even just exit the lobby when i see someone put him on the team.

all this torture and for what. i just wanna play with my friend who respects my needs and thats it i dont want any more ppl.
