Happy pride month here are some lesbian dolls! 🩷🤍🧡
Edit: Myself and many others know femme as a lesbian term, some may see that differently and you can talk about that, but respectfully here is not the place for that.
Also please note it says “honourable mention” because it is partially a joke, I am aware this Barbie does not have any personality, backstory, lore, whatever, so she is not actually a confirmed lesbian in any way. Yes, the dolls shirt could just be a cute girl-power quote but again, this is a term used by lesbians and this is why she is under honourable mention.

My daughter, my growing daughter
Ran into the issue of her chest piece being too wide/too fluffy for my build plate. But seeing how gigantic she is, I think I can resize V2 by like 5-10% so I don't have that issue. For this version, I just glued on the top cap piece and it'll be covered by her neck piece.
I'm printing the two neck pieces today. Next should be head, arms, and lastly the tail.

Still aiming hard at using brighter primary colors, so when I found this dotted sport knit stuff I immediately made tights and then a tshirt. (Never have enough tshirts to go around for some reason.)
Spent days trying to figure out bottoms to go with this, then finally realized it looks like cute comfy pajamas with nothing else on the bottom so I left off the search and here we are. Well, I did have to add the Comfi Cardi (pattern by Joshybearhuggies on Youtube) because her nips are painted and super visible straight through this material.
It was so nice to sew stuff I already had patterns for. It's so quick! Instead of measure, draft, test fit, adjust, sew, adjust, sew, on and on. I'm quite happy to have all the Limhwa heads back on identical Limhwa bodies now, solely for clothes sharing purposes. 😬
Limhwa Human is such a cutie, I loved photographing her in bright colors 😍

BGBF sent the two Odile mermaid heads, and also a Malibu Francie with a faded face but body in good condition. I put the Francie head aside and cleaned up the body and figured I'd put it aside as well, because I don't generally have tan skin tone heads that are small enough to work with the teenage Francie body size
...then I had the thought to try the tan Odile head on the Francie body, as more of a joke than anything. The combination immediately felt like Teen Skipper, so I kept it together.
I even styled her hair a way that I did a lot of dolls in the late 90s.
I made the dress with some Very Early 1970s fabric sent by @queenofsquids

Purple haired Odile mermaid from BGBF went onto a pale MTM body (which had been set aside for another head I've been meaning to reroot for...uh...years...)
The fabulous vintage floral fabric with flocked dots was sent by @queenofsquids
Thanks thanks!

This was something I listed on Etsy in August of 2009. Looking at my photos, it may have been the first patchwork dress I made for sixth scale dolls. I have no idea what I was thinking with those buttons, and I'm not too sure about that Chinese Person print these days, either.
This 60cm doll jacket, from July 2004, may have been the first patchwork doll clothing item I ever made

I suspect I thought that patchwork for smaller dolls would just be too small, and too fiddly. For Me Then, it just might have been. I happily sew a lot of things now that Me Then viewed as too much work.
I suppose I should note that Me Then was 30 years old, having been sewing people-size clothes for over a decade, and seriously sewing doll-size for a few years. My sewing comfort levels have definitely evolved over time.

This was not only made completely from things in my stash, but also inspired by them, and continuously asking "OK, what else..."
and I honestly think it would be so much better as something traditionally knit, instead of cut and sewn as it is, buuut I don't knit, so it's fine.

we don't care about your music, we care about the dumb shitposts you make. that's why you have all of these followers. and there's plenty more shitposters in the sea so unless you're cool with us leaving keep the music shit on a sideblog
I am extremely cool with you leaving! How about this, you leave, I keep posting my little songs, and I'll keep gaining followers anyway, deal?

I love making these teeny tiny clothes, fabric just behaves really differntly on this small of a scale. Also I had this lace for years and years and I‘m so happy I finally got to use it
