Hey all. It's gotten bad for me.

Me, and the people I care about the most, need to leave the country, and I can no longer rely on my full time job to provide me with the funds I need to do so. This is not a matter of comfort for us, it is a matter of survival, and I don't say that lightly.

I do not feel good asking for this much assistance, but I need it, and will be doing whatever I can to make it happen.

sometimes things that seem more difficult are invented first and it's weird to think about. like. air fryers right are super recent but the microwave oven has been around over half a century. this box in my house that uses secret waves to vibrate water molecules. is older technology than a thing that just uses hot air a specific way.

I'm watching my friend slowly die and I don't know what to do. Starvation, tumors, and depression are eating away at him while he has nothing to eat.

"New Yorkers bite more people than sharks annually" is an excellent example of how statistics can be misleading. Like yeah no shit, do you have any idea how rare it is to even encounter a shark in the wild? They're not exactly urban animals. I'm pretty damn sure that if sharks were living in big cities like pigeons, just strolling down the streets looking for food scraps, you'd see a lot more news stories about New Yorkers biting them.
