The Bentley 4 ¼ litre ‘Embiricos’ Special is one of the rarest and most valuable Bentleys in world and could easily be responsible for igniting a string of high-performance models from its conception onwards. Commissioned in the 1930s, by wealthy Greek shipping magnate and gentlemen racer André Embiricos, the stunning one-of-a-kind coupé was not only used for fast touring and track applications but was also Embiricos’ daily driver. Produced by French designer Georges Paulin, the sleek aerodynamic aluminium body was more akin to the elegant flowing lines of the Talbot-Lago or a Delahaye giving it its uniqueness and an aesthetic which was unlike anything in the Bentley stable of the time. #meandmybentley
