In love with sunsets

In love with crimson hues that

Spill the blood of the docks upon my eyes

The whispering wind calling, dragging

My mind into memories

Of broken promise and goodbyes

And yet I feel no pain

The sea is glittering far brighter than my life

Egrets that skim the waves in casual dominance

And yet I, rooted on my withered bench

Feel no strife

And whence the sun sets in front of my eyes

I linger there acting out promises

Sea stretching out before me with every lie

And yet I feel no weight of creases

The evening sun sings me the same melody every day

And everyday I watch it fall

I bring it every torn fibre of my being

My ragged heart and my haunting memories

The ghost sun holds me despite it all

I walk to see the falling sun everyday

And it simply listens as it stitches warmth

Into my heart where the pain aches like a duet

A bleeding sun in my heart

One day I hope my eyes could convey silent love as well
